Someone being intersex or a hermaphrodite, is not that common as red or ginger hair. There are entire regions of Europe such as the Nordic/Scandinavian countries, most countries in Western Europe, and the UK where many people have red hair, or carry the gene for red hair, and there are people in other regions of the world who have red hair such as in Central/Inner Asia, Western Asia, and Middle Eastern countries. There are also regions of Europe where you will find people who have red hair where the majority of the population does not such as Southern Europe.

Did you even read my last reply? Red hair is very common in Northern European countries and people who have a heritage/ancestry from these countries-especially the UK/Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland.
 
I guess common sense isn't that common anymore, and that's why we have some people advocating for confusing children and then using the state to permanently disfigure them.

You keep making out that the only options are, refuse anything related to transition to anyone who's under 18 and just keep yelling "no! You are a boy/girl! You're wrong!" at them.

Or tell them "did you know you can choose your sex? Say the word and we'll have you under for surgery by tomorrow evening!"

They aren't. There's a whole world of options in between for those of us who are more sensible to advocate.

Something I've long thought. People who are extremists, assholes, bigots, whatever. Secretly think that everyone else is secretly like them. Hence liars frequently expect to be lied too, etc.

I think you see everyone as an extremist because you're one. So if I'm not on your extreme, I must secretly be on the opposite, as must everyone else.

No as for you I simply think you're grossly uninformed. I am more so criticizing the agenda because I've looked a bit deeper into what's happening around the world policy-wise. Certain authorities are making decisions based more on profits (surprise surprise) and are so pushing the medical option much harder, or there may be even more nefarious intent. Grimez, you know I won't watch YouTube links. If the video provides a source for that claim. Provide that instead. Otherwise I'll assume you have no evidence at all.

Anyone can put something in a YouTube video, it's not a source. And I'm not encouraging the practice of arguing via YouTuber proxy by watching it.

In arguing with you, not some YouTuber who isn't here to defend their argument.

EDIT: I decided to go looking for evidence on my own. And unfortunately what I found was very lacking. There aren't many studies in the subject. And most that exist have sample sizes that are far too low, and were conducted in ways that are ambiguous (such as assuming individuals who did not continue going to psychiatrists had discontinued treatment. And as someone who's been to a psychiatrist, I can say that I in fact discontinued not because I was no longer depressed, but because they were worthless)

That said though. Again, this isn't an all or nothing proposition. Even if the majority of children who at one point identify as transgender seeking hormone therapy, later come to determine they aren't transgender, it does not then follow that no transition by children can be permitted. It follows that the criteria for determining who is suitable for treatment is inadequate.

It would only follow that no transition should be supported if nearly all such children came to regret it. And I've found no evidence of that at all.

@Bagseed there's nothing wrong with being concerned for societies children. What's wrong is people who use children as a cover to get their way on their existing political beliefs.

People who claim to care about children, but expend no effort whatsoever attempting to find the best way to help and protect children.

I guess my point is that some people might feel like everybody who expresses concern for societies children generally is doing that. Which I don't feel is the case.

Some people just legitimately wanna know how to help people then wanna do it. And sometimes those people they wanna help are children.
 
Lol wut? You seem to discredit people that you don't agree with but a lot of times your responses aren't very substantial.

I re read this but of thread and no one equates the two, Jess compared the transgender view with those of similar views on pedos, neither head not grimey do seem to equate them as similar.


Gender isn't just sexual thoughts and genitals the point should be any kid would feel like dressing or having usual interests in things within the sex they may not physically be.

It only becomes a problem if others in their family or school single them out as weird and that's the problem.

If a kid is made comfortable and confident in their own skin and style as it develops then that is all they need until they grow up.


Getting hormones and surgery means they are NOT just okay as they are and still need to alter themselves to be what they should have been.


Learn to accept and be good with themselves to then make an educated decision as an adult with what they want changed.
 
Uhh, Grimez may not have said that being transgender was being like a pedophile. But he absolutely suggested repeatedly that allowing children to transition would eventually lead to the normalization of pedophilia.

And that is indeed exactly the same kind of scare tactic people used to deny rights to homosexuals. That capitulating to their "agenda" would ultimately lead to the normalization of pedophilia as just another normal sexual orientation.

It's a scare tactic that's been used repeatedly to try and legitimize continued discrimination and prejudice.
