What other drugs make it possible for someone to stare blankly at something and be tranced and hypnotized by it, mentally?

Alcohol and opiates are not one of them. They dull the brain and while they sedate, they don't give you mind fucks.

Sounds plausible. I know that Salvia definitely wouldn't work, since the test subject is pretty much incapacitated. What about disassociatives like K?

Not quite a k hole but right on the verge of it possibly. DXM maybe. Low third plateau. Mescaline would be a good bet.

Basically a drug combined with music that will send you to another planet.

A drug that when combined with outlandish imagery will give you crazy thoughts and conclusions.

A drug that makes trippy things REALLY enjoyable. I'm not sure how to put this into correct words.

Almost like an altered mental state where things that would normally seem retarded are actually enlightening.

I put my vote back on LSD then. Makes music insanely beautiful, art (in all forms) speaks to me, I meditate and all that good stuff. I haven't been able to achieve anything else close to that on any other drugs.
