So I have some tramadol pills and I have only ever taken tramadol once and it was one pill it shocked me I was expecting it to do barely anything now im considering using the rest of the pills but im paranoid about something bad happening I know I will probably be safe but after reading that its apparently the most dangerous opoid and can have really bad drug reactions even if you havnt taken anything for weeks and can cause a grand mal seizure thats dangerous im scared of taking tramadol what would the chances of something really bad happening to me be? And if I take it how many mg should I take?

It's very high doses ( 600+mgs ) of tramadol that cause seizure, or mixed with stimulants / benzodiazepine withdrawal. What mg are your pills? Typically they come in 50mg and 100mg.

^^DON'T GO THAT HIGH! Doses of as low as 2-300mg have been reported to cause seizures. Anything past 200 is definitely lowering your seizure threshold. 400 is just asking for it.

On doses below 200mg it is usually a well-tolerated medication, especially if you had a positive effect from 50mg. Just try to keep your dosage as low as possible.

Tramadol is the bottom of the opiate barrel. I have had prescriptions for several years. It's often prescribed when some one can't handle the slight nausea sometimes brought on by opioids. It was prescribed for my wife. She still got nauseous! I regularly take 2 50mg tabs but never more. The high isn't that good. But it goes nice with 2 8mg ephedrine tabs. I don't do this very often but the two are a nice mood elevator

I kicked opium three times in Viet Nam. First two times I thought I had the flu for about 3 days. This was about a 10 dollar a day habit over there. It was about a quarter a hit and all the free pot you wanted. But I didn't eat it much but more than four times probably. I knew that stomach habits were pretty bad. Before `Nam I played in a band with a paregoric junkie. I didn't want to go there. Smoking it was the best. They do it just like Johnny Depp in From Hell.

I was in a situation where I'd go away from the Saigon area for two months at a time. Those coincided with my bouts of flu like symptoms. It was no problem to not smoke for that 2 month period but I always went back to it. I snorted smack a few times in LA, I prefer the opium. Haven't been near it since 69 maybe. I go back in a heart beat if it was that cheap around here.
