Tramadol ???

Ok. I think I'm having trouble identifying the proper format for the threads. I'll work on that though.

Lol

IMHO Tramadol is worthless. If you take it in high doses (300-400mg) it can get you a little wired, but if that's all your looking for then don't be disappointed when you find out that's most likely all you're going to get. I've never gotten any recreational value from tramadol.

I have always been very intolerant to drugs, like cannabis effects me much differently than it affects most other people, i'm not sure if this has to do with my mild autism which already disrupts brain chemistry, or if it's just the way i am. Tramadol seems to be the one exception to that unwritten rule, it affects me very little and it seems to affect me in the same way it affects everyone else. It works very well for depression, if i take one 50mg pill in the morning and one at night i have no depression at all. i just took 3 50's and i feel pretty good

Its very interesting that you mention that because I suffer from a form of clinical depression. My actual diagnoses is called "Major Depression Disorder". Over a number of years my psych dr and I have never found an effective
Anti-depressant. When I use what I'm really doing is self medicating my condition. I never thought
Of trams as a possible option as a long-term treatment for depression. Maybe I'll get my psych to write a script for trams and take them as prescribed
And give it a shot. If you don't want to answer this question I completely understand and I hate to be nosey, but if you don't mind
My asking what is your depression diagnosis that the trams help with?

I'm not sure what IMHO means, but when I take trams I get a buzz very similar to oxycodone

I have Clinical Depression, it's common in people with PDD-NOS (Pervasive Developmental Disorder - Not otherwise specified). I used to think i was bipolar because i can go from being very giddy and happy to being in a total pit of despair in a matter of min. Taking the Trams gets rid of the depression, and heightens my mood, really give it a try, i can't guarantee you'll get the same benefit but it's worth a try :)

Awesome thanks for sharing that with me. I also have social phobia and panic disorder. I wonder if trams would help with that. Now I'm really excited to give this a shot!

CLINICAL DEPRESSION SUCKS SOOOOOO BAD. It can ruin your entire life and its a constant battle every minute of every day...

I'd be way more inclined to ask the psychiatrist for Trazadone, rather than Tramadol. I find Tramadol does stimulate my mood but it's not likely your going to get it off label for depression and I don't think going and breaking your arm to get it is the best idea either. Trazadone has quite a similar profile in the way it works a an anti depressant, though it sucks as a painkiller. SSRIs and SSNRIs are usually more anxiolytic though. If I am honest the dogs bollocks for all my crazies are Atypical Antipsychotics but you have to be pretty sure you want them and all their side effects because it's a sucky deal.
