this is totally untrue

i know for certain that opiod tolerance DOES play a role.

tramadol doesnt do SHIT for me, 200mg doesnt do anythin gmore then releiv a headache...and even tylonol works better at that

If you have got a decent oxy or h habit, tramadol blows dick
 
I am not a fan of tramadol.. It fucked my breathing up at scripted doses. It overall made me feel yucky. I wish it did for me what it does for alot of people on here.. it just doesn't.
 
PT, I have been on it for 10 years. It still gives me a feeling of well being and a real mood boost. Though tolerance is high and I am taking 1300 mg's daily, over 3 doses. But that's better than a month ago when I was taking 1500-1600 mg's daily. I want to wean down, eventually, to 1000 mg's, stop there for a while, then make the push to continue to reduce.

Now, the reduction of 400 mg's has not had a lot of impact on the mood boost and pain relief. Later, I suspect that I will feel the reduced amount.
 
I want everyone to know that Serotonin and Noradrenaline can alter the mind as well.
This is where the mood lift comes from. These are the main effects of Tramadol.

But for the opiate high, TRAMADOL SUCKS, if you have any kind of tolerance to any stronger opiate.

To get high on this is just not worth the effort some people put into it.

You spend way more money trying to potentate it than it is actually worth.
The risk to your health is certainly worse dose-to-dose than with regular opiates.
It is in no way productive to people trying to get high on tramadol when they are looking for an opiate high and have already passed the tolerance requirements to be "HIGH" from tramadol.

This is completely different than using it just to not feel "dope-sick" in between purchases of stronger opiates.

I am another one who reacts very well to tramadol at 300-400mg doses - and my limit is 160mg oxycodone, 240mg morphine.

In fact, I had not experimented with tramadol until recently because I thought it would have no effect on me, being uncontrolled and all. It is still not as good as traditional opiates, or even semi-synthetics, yet still produces a decent amount of euphoria and energy.
 
It's illegal to buy w/o script but apparently plenty of people do- how? should I be taking a mexico vacation this summer?
I like tramadol, most people don't. It gives me a nice warming feeling for a while. Haven't had it in months and will try methadone in a week or two(can't get good opiates lately).
 
It is currently unscheduled in the Usa except for the State of Kentucky where it has recently been placed as schedule IV
 
I've been on suboxone for about 3 years and over the past year i reduced my dose from 16mg/day sublingual to about 3mg/day snorted or micron filtered and IV'd..
I recently got a script for tramadol and I also take valium (which i make sure i take anytime i take tramadol) and i figured since I lowered my dose so dramatically that tramadol would maybe give me at least a little buzz (beyond the anti depressant effects) but sometimes it just makes me tired and other times it makes me really hyper.. i don't get it.
people say that it works great with subs, and i figured with my new low tolerance i would get high but not really.
is there something i'm missing about it, or am i just one of the people that aren't meant to enjoy it?
i remember back in the day when i was on OC's that it could curb my w/d's and give a feeling of "well-being" but i'm not even getting that now..
sorry for the long post, but these things are starting to piss me off.
any help or advice (if there is any) would be appreciated.

Tramodol is like a Tylenol-two_ but codeine isn't weird.. Tramodol is also dangerous since it spikes serotonin (5HT1,2 receptors) and serotonin syndrome is bad news. Definitely don't mix it, at least don't mix with other HT1 /2 dumping or reuptake inhibiting substances like SNRI's or even cocaine (not really Sure why , but cocaine /tramodol is very bad) ie: old dirty Bastard... died from that.
