Do these two opiates synergize at all?


How much tramadol equals to hydrocodone?


If my tolerance is 40mg hydrocodone how much tramadol do i have to take if i only have 20mg hydrocodone?

Will taking tramadol with other opiates make the seizure threshold even lower?

There are reports of them synergizing, but it's generally recommended to avoid using tramadol with other opioids. I'm sure many people do it, though. Yes. There are some sources that say tramadol with other opioids lowers the seizure threshold even more. Why? Don't know. It just does.

How much tramadol equals hydrocodone? Gosh. I don't know. Hmm. Hydrocodone is pretty useless to me compared to tramadol. I take 200-250mg of tramadol every day. Sometimes I'll run out of my script a couple of days early and have to face withdrawal. Sometimes I get a hold of some hydrocodone to help mitigate the tramadol wd symptoms. I usually need 15mg 2 or 3 times a day to help keep most of the tramadol withdrawal away.

If you are bent on taking your 20mg hydrocodone with tramadol, I'd test the water with just 50-100mg of tramadol first.
Of course the effects of tramadol will last much longer than that of hydrocodone. As hydrocodone effects are short. Which is another reason why it sucks compared to tramadol.
 
Tramadol itself has a half-life of 5-7 hours.

The liver turns it into 4 or 5 other metabolites that are active. All with a half-life of pretty much 9 hours. Which makes sense. I don't start feeling tram withdrawal until 19-22 hours after first big dose of the day. So, pretty much. I wake up with withdrawal, take my tram, and feel great and fine until I wake up the next morning.

For you; 18-22 hours and blood levels will be pretty much 0
