Tramadol -- Unexperienced -- The answers are here.

I LOVE tramadol. I'm on 300mg (I have a NATURAL tolerance to opiates), I don't get ANY nausea (as I don't get from any opiate :D ) and it makes me really careless, calm, sociable, etc. I've even made friends on tramadol, people that I never had talked to. I'm feeling good and working withouth problems. It is, overall, the best opiate I've tried (tramadol, heroin, oxy, morphine, hydromorphone and methadone) because I can use it and stay completely functional. I LOVE THE STUFF LOL

I absolutely love Tramadol. I like the feeling of Hydrocodone, Oxycodone, and some other Opiates/Opioids better, but there is something about Tramadol that I like alot, especially that they last long. They feel quite different from any other Opioid I've tried.

i agree its a good high, the problem for me was the side effects. i got the same side effects as from hydrocodone but a lot worse.

The only opiate type drugs I've tried are Tramadol (Zydol 300mg modified release) and codeine. For me the Tramadol was fantastic with no bad side effects, and much more euphoric than 300mg codeine which does very little for me. Guess it varies from person to person...

I am on A few ultracet as we speak. Personally, If taken with Marijuana, I find ultracet to be rather fun. It is, of course, no ambien or hydrocodone but it's better than being sober.

High vs low tolerance users.

From what I've read here, some of the higher tolerant people have had better experiences with Tramadol. I'm probably wrong, but does anybody else see this trend?

But nice report nonetheless.

i've been taking tramadol for about a year now. i don't know the mg dose, i only know i started out with 4 pills, which would get me really high and feeling good, for about 8 hours. my tolerance is to the point to where it takes about 8-10 pills to get me the good high. i also like this drug more than hydrocodone. it lasts longer, although the buzz isn't quite as good... but its good enough. the fact that it lasts for 8 hours makes it better to me. although it is very hard to go to sleep at the end of the day. i found that if i dosed at about noon, i couldn't fall asleep until about 2 am, 14 hours later. if i dose right when i wake up at 7 am, then i can sleep ok and wake up the next day for work

Tramadol is marketed as something that has no mental effects whatsoever. Having tried it, I disagree but it would not be my choice for a recreational drug.

Tramadol is very effective for restless leg syndrome and I wonder if it would work for the PEA "willies" that make you want to move your legs around so much (it's not just me, is it?)

Be careful slamming down too much Ultracet, because it contains acetaminophen (Tylenol) and that can be bad for your liver, especially if you've been drinking alcohol.

I was taken Ultram for god knows how long... 9 months (last week) and it works great for pain, but sucks ass as far as getting "high", I would much rather have hydrocodone or even codiene for that matter.

Everyone I talk to says the same, from 50 year old to 18 year old male and female friends. They say that they didn't get "much" out of 100mgs except some sedation. That is really all I feel. Sorry if I hurt anybodies feelings that loves tramadol so much, but it won't matter in about 20 mins. I am going to go take my hydrocodone extraction and lay back for the day.

I've taken tramadol for pain, the first time it didn't do jack in terms of pain control, but it did give me severe sweats, make me sleep a lot, make me severely nauseas, pretty much all of the side effects of taking too much of a regular opioid without the benefit. At that point the nausea clearly outweighed any euphoria.

A little tolerance to it might help. I kept taking 50mg a day for a long while, then under some friendly advice from the pain people upped it to 150 mg, then a 2nd of 100 then a 3 of 50. It's not in the same ballpark as say oxycodone for pain control, but it is about the same as a small dose of hydrocodone. It has a mild euphoria, last about 6 hours, it's not unpleasant, not exactly recreational. Food helps a bit. After being on it awhile the nausea is not as much of a problem, but it's still more than I get with oxycodone and even mscontin. The nausea isn't as bad as say hydrocodone, and I don't get the itching!

My opinion of it has improved quite a bit from when I first took it.

Good stuff. . .

I find Tramadol a great recreational drug. I used to take 2 slow release 200mg tablets a day for a very badly broken leg. I am left with all these tablets now and my leg no longer hurts.

So my friend tells me of this guy who got him to try tramadol recreationally and he chewed up 3 of the 200mg tablets and puked all night and all the next day and warned me off the shit. I knew he had taken way too much having never had any kind of opiate before.

I have never taken opiates to get high before. So I had four 50mg capsules of Tramadol Hydrochloride. An hour later I felt some mild nausea, but that disappeared and then I was just fucked, in a really good way. I felt heavy, drowsy but not sleepy, very euphoric and my body felt great. I was uncoordinated, but it didn't affect my speech or anything like that. I found myself walking around, listening to music, doing regular shit around the house, and sighing contentedly because even breathing felt good. I went to sleep, slept great and woke feeling fine.

The next experience I chewed the 200mg slow release tablet up and swallowed with water. It didn't hit as hard as 200mg had the time before, so after an hour i swallowed two 50mg capsules. An hour later I was feeling very messed up again, almost as much as the first time, it was good. That wore off and I had another two 50mg capsules, again I was messed up but the intense muddle-headed high didn't last long. . .I was almost ready for bed though. . .I am not quite sure what happened after this. I don't remember it. I knew that I shouldn't exceed 400 mg in a day but I remember not giving a shit. I must have thought that I wasn't that wasted, even though in retrospect I obviously was! I either had another two or three 50mg capsules, either way it would have put at 500-550mg total in 3 hours. I went to sleep.

I awoke in the morning, vomited after being awake for 20 minutes was sure I was going to be sick again but found that once back in bed lying down, it subsided. I spent until 5pm that day in bed, not feeling very well at all.

It has not scared me off it though. I now take a 300mg dose (1 1/2 crushed 200mg slow release in toilet paper bomb with water) and it gets me comfortably fucked up, with no nausea and sleeping is awesome. Sleeping especially is great, you wake up and roll over and feel so happy and glad to be in bed. It is awesome. :)

Anyway, sorry for the long post, basically, have fun with it, I think it's agreat fun, although i've never tried any other opiates recreationally. But be careful with doses around the 400mg+ range. I know that I'm not going to be doing that again. . .

I thought that tramadol was not an opiate analgesic and therefore an opiate tolerance would have no influence on the effects?

^^^ Tramadol is insanely fun w/cannabis.

Damn right. Tramadol and weed go together fucking GREAT. Highly recommended.

Plus, for something different, today I took 400mg Ultram + 40mg Valium - even more relaxed high, nice, and subtle. Wish I had some weed... ;-)

Shame, this drug is basically legal now it is going to become scheduled with everyone reporting on it. It even has its own special "effects" section on erowid.org which clearly states "tramadol, sense of well-being 6-8 hours".

If abuse reports rise it will become as hard as any other pain med. to obtain and abuse.

It is not scheduled, available by Rx only. However, possession of tramadol even without a valid prescription is legal.
SHAME!
