Tramadol (Ultram) Withdrawals?

I have been ordering tramadol in rather large amounts from an overseas pharmacy for about 3 months now. As of now I am taking between 2000-3000 mg a day. This may seem like a lot but Im built pretty big and have a natural tolerance to most drugs (Hence I dont reccomend anyone to take that much). Because of various side effects Ive decided to quit taking them,it seems the withdrawals from these things are pretty substantial, even more so than coming off say...Oxy. Now my question is what kind of things should I do to make the withdrawals easier? I have a strong will so the mental part is taken care of but these physical symptoms are a pain in the ass(sweating, rapid heartbeat, nausea, cramps, etc. I think I heard someone here mention ammodium AD for opiate or opiate like withdrawals? Thanks for any imput.

hmmmm.....my ultram dosage was not so high, but i kinda had some withdrawal symptoms when my scrip would run out and i didnt have the cash for a refill.
just smoke some weed, and remember, its all in your mind.
did you just get out of surgery or something? whats wrong with you? if you can tell me that i might be able to recommend something.

3000 mg a day? Shit! The best way to get yourself off those things is just to lower the dosage a little at a time. If you have lots of them, them I'm sure it's easy to do. Just take a little less each time and you'll soften the effects of the withdrawl.

Yeah, with 3g a day I would NOT advise you stop 'cold turkey' ... and some benzos will ease your pain .. it's technically not a narcotic so I dunna, but you might have good luck with Imodium AD..

Well Im subject to random piss tests and Ultram doesnt show up,its also much easier to get from overseas pharmacies than hydrocodone or oxcodone, etc. A lot of people take ultram and say it doesnt do anything for them. I can take 500-600 mg and its about the same as railing an OC40. Guess it just depends on the person.

Why ultram and not one of the other opiates.
Here is my answer.
I had a very bad left ear infection, now an ear infection is mostly a dull trobbing pain that seems to never leave. It makes you dizzy and upsets you stomach and your balance and your hearing.
I was taking opiates for a few days to try to work through the pain, BUT
In my humble, non-opiate abuse opinion, the damn ultram worked better for getting rid of the pain! Isn't that what we all are looking for, at least while there is pain to deal with?
As for withdrawl, I don't know, I took them for a while, after I found out they gave me a burst of second wind for when I went in at night for my second job (and the again in the morning getting up for my first job....)
But when I just stopped taking them, I felt fine. I know there are cases of addiction, but I have to say that I think there are a lot of people out the who seek drama and will make themselves sick just to say they are addicted to something.
The only real concern I had was sezuries at normal doses, and if that didn't happen, I don't know, take slow baby steps down and take a bow?

Good Points! I dunno, when I took ultram it would leave me feeling grawgy, only off one dose. Besides, that last time I took an ultram I ended up breaking by right pinky toe. I dunno if it was the ultram that fucked me up, or the pancakes smuthered in puna butter, mostly likely it was a combination of the two! Lets just say I woke up in the middle of the night, on the way back from the toilet I passed out and somehow wound up on the ground...broken toe and all..
