Tramadol (Ultram) - SAFE to take?? Took 500 mg l-tryptophan (5 htp) yesterday

Am I okay to take 150mg of Tramadol if I took a single 500 mg l-tryptophan yesterday (around 4pmish)? I had not been taking it everyday. But I dont want any chance of having a seizure or SS... I am not on any SSRIs, just Dextroamphetamine (have not taken any today) and Klonapin (take as needed, haven't taken any today).


Please let me know. Thank you!

Well fuck it - I took 100mg - 2 of them... so it better be okay. See how I feel in an hour or so.

In regards to 5-htp + tramadol

Tramadol:

Tramadol is an analgesic for moderate to severe pain. Although no drug interactions have been reported, 5-HTP may increase the effects of Tramadol, increasing the risk of seizures or serotonin syndrome.

don't freak yourself out about this though, I'm sure you'll be fine as the 5-htp has surely been eliminated from your system by now, half life estimated at 90 minutes. Next time do a quick google search.
