Just took 4 50mg of Tramadol HCL, 2mg of Xanax. Feel pretty, nice body buzz wanna keep it going will taking more Xanax and/or drinking strong coffee potentiate and/or keep the buzz going? Thanks.

Caffeine may end up making you jittery since tramadol is a NE reuptake inhibitor, but if you get the dose right it may add to the 'speediness' of the high. More Xanax will enhance the warmth & sedation but at the risk of blacking out and inevitably falling asleep with no recollection of what happened. Have fun!

I've got a pretty high tolerance to benzos been on them for over 4 years, currently prescribed 5mg of xanax a day. Think I'll just sip a strong coffee and take 2 more mg's of xanax. Thanks.

I hate tramadol (not even an opiate), but that is my own opinion. Xanax on the other hand I love. I take 6mg a day and I love Dr. Pepper when I'm on my xanny's. Shit taste so bomb! Love all 23 flavors of it haha!! To answer your question pinpoint is right, benzos may inscrease the effects of tramadol, but since it's not an opiate it wouldn't be the same as taking an Oxycodone, Hydrocodone , Percocet... Etc list goes on!

Be safe n have fun!

^Paxil would do nothing but increase your risk of serotonin syndrome.

Well, I wouldn't quite say that. It is an opioid insofar as it binds to the μ-opioid receptor, but you're right, it's not an opiate as it is synthetic.

You are right and wrong, it isn't a synthetic opiate. Oxycodone, OxyContin, Fentanyl are synthetic opiates.

Damn, Benzyblue you from the U.S. North, South, East coast or west coast? Are you prescribed the tramaddol for any reason or the xanax? Reason I ask, I'm prescribed 2mg Xanax, 50mcg Fentanyl Patches, 20mg Oxycodone Immediate-Release. No Paxil will do nothing. Sorry buddy!

To all the questions about Tramadol (Ultram)....

Tramadol is not an opiate as it is not derived from the poppy plant. None the less, tramadol acts on the same receptor sites in the brain as opioid medications and also has antidepressant properties. As a narcotic-like drug, it can be addictive and if stopped abruptly after taking regularly for a period of time, the user will experience withdrawals. Many doctors over look this fact and fail to tell their patients.

I'm prescribed 5mg of Xanax daily for panic attacks and anxiety. No scrip for the Tramadol, I'm in South East U.S.

Tramadol is not derived from the poppy plant. It isn't even considered a narcotic. They've just now realized that people are abusing them like narcotics so that's why it is being reviewed to be a scheduled drug. Trust me bro, I was going to be a pharmacist have studied the whole book inside and out. Tramadol is not a synthetic opiate cuz it isn't even an opiate at all. Just google is, you'll find all the info you want on the search engine. I'm not arguing with you by any means. Parts of what you said is correct and other parts incorrect.

I do have back pain, but usually high amounts of caffeine help to dull the pain. Right now I just got some tramadol from a friend, I'm not prescribed anything for my back pain.

Tramadol is not derived from the poppy plant.

When did I say it was? I agreed with you that it is not an opiate, but it is an opioid (you do know the difference, right?).

They've just now realized that people are abusing them like narcotics so that's why it is being reviewed to be a scheduled drug.

This is because it is a μ-opioid receptor agonist. It's the same receptor that oxycodone, fentanyl & heroin hit.

that's why it is being reviewed to be a scheduled drug.

It is and has been a scheduled drug since last year.

Trust me bro

Ok

I was going to be a pharmacist

Then you know the difference between opioid & opiate, right?

Tramadol is not a synthetic opiate

Never said it was, but it's merely semantics as it is a synthetic opioid

I'm not arguing with you by any means.

Nor am I.

Parts of what you said is correct and other parts incorrect.

I beg to differ.

what you have in your hands to help enhance the tramadol really isn't going to do much of nothing. I find that xanax cancels out most opiates, opioids, or narcotic-like pain relievers like tramadol. I find that xanax dulls the high. And paxil really? do you want serotonin syndrome? One med that i find that does enhance or work well with tramadol is Hydrocodone. I myself am prescribed 1MG Xanax (90) 1MG klonopin (90) MsContin 30MG (60) Vicoprofen 7.5MG (90) so tramadol is nothing to me and I've found it's never given me any high. but like i said when i mixed some hydro with it gave a pleasant buzz. Tramadol itself i feel like is just a wack drug. too many risk compared to all the other great shit out here.
