On August 18th, 2014, Tramadol became a scheduled drug. Although it is just a schedule IV its still kind of annoying that I cant get my re-fill any time I want. Of course it isn't even close to being my D.O.C. but its great when nothing is around. I'm one the few that actually enjoys it. What do you guys think about this???

I was given it in pill form but it counter acts the effexor antidepressant I take. Given my high tolerance however, I just found it made me a bit giddy and slightly sedated. I need a high dose to feel anything and it certainly has never knocked me out. What about you?

That's not true.

Great, so now we have nothing for a painkiller in between tramadol and the near impossible to get schedule II opiates.

Well of course the Feds are going to try and ruin any little bit of fun for us....I'm surprised DXM and Benzedrex are still so easily available.

I thought it had been SIV for a couple years now... I reallly wish they weren't becausse even though there S IV they did work good as an antideprressent that worked for me....also it's the only thning you can take w/ Subs and still feel it, got that & Soma at the same time..huge problems there. And now docs are gonna start leaning towards Tylenol 3/4, Tramadol. A docotor that use to give a bottle of 30 tens every week now gives Tyenol 4 and Tramadol for the month, but if you want Hydro he's gotta like u, and fuck it's annoying but just go once a week or month...I dunno what they thought this was gonna accomplish really..people go to docs for Scedule 2's all the time. EVERY MONTH.

Im not sure right off the top of my head about Effexor but Tramadol does interact with many antidepressant, more specifically SSRIs.
As for it being Scheduled, Up until August 18th it HAD been scheduled in some states but now its "OFFICIAL"

This isn't appropriate discussion. If you have an announcement about tramadol being made C-IV you should link some sort of source stating that and I'll move this thread to the appropriate forum...otherwise this thread is getting closed.

Or, are you really asking about tramadol and Effexor?

Tramadol can be very addictive for people who are able to process it. Due to the SRNI (?) effects withdrawal can be hell to go through. I always wondered why it wasn't scheduled earlier as there was evidence it was an addicting drug. I am so, so happy that I got my doses down to 2 tablets 3X a day. A far cry from two years ago when my dose was ~30 tabs a day. But I do feel for those people who were caught off guard that were ordering it online.
