Tramadol no high

I have taken Tramadol a few times and it doesn't effect me, I took 100mg the other day and i felt nothing, does anyone else get this and if so, why do people get high on it and others don't?
 
some people have higher tolerances than others, others may not have the necessary enzyme needed to metabolize the M1 metabolite from it, as well you may be looking for the wrong type of high from it, while true that it does brush the mu receptors, it is extremely mild and if you have any type of opiate tolerances you won't find much opiate effect, it may just keep you from getting sick if that, now when looking for a buzz from tramadol you need to be looking for the speedy snri effects, this is what I enjoy most about tramadol, and even with a moderate tolerance,( 30 mg of oxy to feel good), after a day of taking trams all day (400+ mg) I notice quite an opiate euphoria. But my main effect from taking it is, the productive speedy snri feelings it produces, this to me is it's most desired effect as well, some people hate it, others like me love it.

Trams are very addictive and a very nasty wd. Not only wd'ing from the "opiate" like affect but also the ssri affect. Just fyi:\
 
i've taken tramadol on hopes and dreams many times i've taken an entire 30 count bottle of the 50mg trams and felt nothing, not even sick on my stomach. if you're like me and you're tolerance is high (150mg of oramorph to even be well or 90mg of oxy to be well) then i wouldn't expect much from a pain killer weaker than codeine.
 
I don't take opiates regular but i do dabble from time to time with Dihydrocodeine, i got some trams from a friend and i only took 2, I've still got about 18 50mg capsules in my drawer, i think i'll stick with my DHC, i get a buzz off them, but i think i must have a natural high tolerance to opiates because i need at least 300mg of DHC to feel anything and it was the same when i first took them.
 
tramadol is a weak opiate, somebody who has some opiate tolerance will be disappointed with it. i've had better opiate euphoria from small recreational doses of codeine and even darvocet.

also, the SNRI effects make it even less recreational imo. tramadol is the only opiate i've had that has actually induced anxiety, restlessness, and mild depression. i'm guessing it has to do with it's SNRI effects(antidepressants like prozac and other SSRIs and SNRIs also cause those effects in me).
 
I get high off of tramadol but it's very subtle, even at 400mg. No opiate tolerance. It just seems like more of a superficial euphoria that doesn't reach deep enough. I'd take them for free but I find even codeine more enjoyable.

It's prly not worth stealing from your mom, kids.

I know the kid and the mom are pissed at the same time.

Kid- Didn't get high.

Mom- is pissed her son tried to get high on her pain med that didn't work anyway.
 
I would rather take Tramadol over Hydrocodone or Oxycodone, but thats just me. 50-60Mg is what i need to feel good off oxy or hydro for around 8-10hrs, but with Tramadol, i only need around 150mg and I am in the greatest mood and feel very euphoric for around 8-10hrs. Tramadol is more cost effective.
