Tramadol In Australia

All i have to do is go to the doctor with a 'toothache' or a 'sore back' and say i cant have codeine based pain killers coz they make me nauseous and their all to happy to prescribe me Tramadol , they seem to believe them to be a far more less potent ,less addictive and less potential for abuse,than codeine but with me i take 200mg and im high for like 6-7 hours and coz my doctor believes them to be so wholesome i seem to have an endless supply of them.
Has anyone else in oz or anywhere else discovered these things and do you have the same effect or am i just weird.

ps. codeine does not make me nauseous, it just doesn't get me as high as these, and coz i turn down codeine my doctor doesn't suspect im abusing them.
