I have tried Oxycodone and Hydrocodone's and the Oxycodone's provide the best warm high I have ever had. I have tried Tramadol recently and was quite surprised. The high I got from Tramadol was more than that of Hydros. Anyone else have experiences like this? I am getting Tramadol super easy from my doc right now. Does anyone think the DEA will eventually schedule this drug? Thanks.

It's like that for some people. About half love it, and the others don't understand what the big deal is. And I can relate to how close it feels to oxycodone.

ime it's extremely euphoric. Like a stimulation feeling mixed with the warmth of opiates. a nice social drug. And it lasts a long time.

Though getting to the time now - where the come up is no longer enjoyable & with pretty bad nausea. And hang overs worse. more tiredness. And that's without even abusing tramadol.

Tolerance can grow fast. and apparently the withdraws from it if you get dependent can be much worse than most of the stronger opiates.

Hi All, Sorry about being away for sooo long. work has SUCKED.... I know, me working, crazy right.

Anyway - onto the question at hand. Trams for me are like a "sadder" oxy. by sadder I guess i just mean more mellow. I was mixing with vals for a fun effect however gimmy a Oxy any day of the week. I still like trams for getting rid of the oxy "immunity".

hope this helps at all

Jeck.

I liked tramadol. Then stopped taking it. When i started taking it again it would literally make me sick beyond belief. Those amneal AN627's were how id imagine rot poison would react with my stomach. horrible

I love tramadol, it is fantastic, and docs really don't get all opiophobic about rx'ing it like they do with other opioids. Tramadol is long acting, euphoric, and opiate-like in almost every way. The serotenergism and noradrenic properties of the drug add a bit of a different taste to it. I am def. a fan.

Tramdol is great for depression imo...........I dont like it much for getting high, some people do. I rather have Morphine or Vicodin..........Tramadol does work well for breakthrough pain & mixed with Vicodin.

I mixed tramadol with vicodin and it was crap, they fight eachother i think, because when i take tramadol seperatly it works much better.

Does anyone know the mg dose that fatal for tramadol? Currently i take 500mg with no problems. Havent had seizures before and my tolerance builds quickly. I just dont want to die in my sleep, lollll. I know the max daily mg dose is 400 but whats the fatal amount? I take about 11 of the 50mg ones.

Tramadol works great for many people. Just try not to go over 400mg in a day, and do your best not to get dependent/addicted to them. The withdrawals are a whole nother ballgame than other traditional opioids, as you will get the 'dope sick' aspect during withdrawals, and the SNRI properties add a whole nother spectrum to the withdrawals. Much like withdrawing from an SNRI antidepressant (like effexor) and opiates at the same time.

I'm glad it works for you, but tread carefully my friend.

So um no one knows the fatal mg dose? I know that with vicodin taking over 4000mg of the acet. will cause liver failure, but theres nowhere online that states the fatal dose for tramadol.

Fatal dose differs from person to person and situation to situation. I wouldn't worry about the lethality threshold so much as the low seizure threshold. If you're on half gram doses, I really wouldn't push it any further. I don't know if seizures are possible in every person, but if they are, you're walking the line a bit there.

Oh and since i started taking tramadol last week, i havent pooped in 4 days, is this common with opiods? Imma buy a laxative tommorow.

I took 100mg of tram about an hour ago. I want to drink a six poack of 3.2% beer. is it ok?

It all depends on the person. There is a chemical in the body that metabolizes tramadol and everyone has different levels of it. The more the person has in their body, the better the Tramadol works and the better the "high" is.
I have a high amount of it, which for several years was great and I was getting plenty of trams through my doctors for my back pain I have from a previous injury. It seems like no one in the medical field seems to think badly about tramadol or think that it can be abused. Oh, it can be! Unfortunately, after being on them for almost 3 years and having found out how you can buy them online legally without a prescription (and get them within a day or two at that! Though it was very expensive... :\), I was taking up to 5-7 at a time about 3 times a day. And that was only to keep me functioning without going through withdrawals. Anywho, I ended up starting to have seizures and was hospitalized and told it was from the Tramadol (no one knew I took any more than prescribed, so they just thought my body wasn't doing well on the trams for whatever reason, but i'm positive it was because I had taken way too many) and was told I need to get off them. I am trying to wean off them now and to try and combat the horrendous withdrawal symptoms that come along with getting of the trams, my doctor gave me some Tylenol 2 and even when I take enough of them to "feel good", it is in NO WAY close to being like the trams. Anywho, sorry for the long novel. Just wanted to share what I know and what I have been through with it. What's kind of sad is I don't even really want to get off the Trams either, I just want to get back to the normal dose prescribed to me. Oh well, maybe living a "clean" life will be good for me.

To the original poster I dont think your in any trouble relating the DEA, and in case you dont know you can also find O-desmethyltramadol as an RC only of course but worth looking into it. O-desmethyltramadol is what Tramadol is primarily converted to in the body.

I've tried a lot of opiates, basically all of the common ones including kratom, pods and fentanyl, however the one opioid (which apparently is also an MAOi..or so I've read) that has always really attracted me in terms of uniqness and euphoria has been Demerol which i've always snorted. It feels like a cross between cocaine and opiates and in high doses you can get hallucinations of the antichlorinergic type which can sometimes make the nod more interesting other times getting in the way of the nod.

does anyone have experience mixing tramadol and robbitussin? i have the kind with no acetaminophen in it so i know thats better but is there some bad interaction between tramadol and dextromethorphan hbr ?? i cant really find a straight answer about it. different sites contradict each other. thanks!

So um no one knows the fatal mg dose? I know that with vicodin taking over 4000mg of the acet. will cause liver failure, but theres nowhere online that states the fatal dose for tramadol.

I'm not trying to say that it's safe to take lots of apap. Personally I hate taking anything with apap in it. However it's not like you're going to immediately go into liver failure if you take over 4g of apap. But it's not good to take that amount either. And taking high amounts of apap on a consistent basis is also a bad idea. Liver wise.

As for tram, the recommendation is not to take more than 400mg of tramadol in a 24 hour period. There is a risk of seizures at high doses.

Again everyone is different. Someone could have ill effects at 300mg, and someone else could be fine over the 400mg dose. Same goes for the apap.

Be safe.

I personally love the drug. It helps alot with my pain and puts me in a great mood. It even helps my anxiety. There is a downside though, in that the withdrawal is pretty severe. I'm actually going threw it as I type this. I remember a few years ago going into the doctor expecting perc 5's or vicodin, but was prescribed tramadol, and I was pretty upset about it, but now look forward getting my script more than ever. I just want to stress that once you start taking more than the prescribing dose, the withdrawal is brutal.
