Well I had researched Tramadol quite a bit looking up trip reports at various sites and reading about its effects. "Euphoria" and "body buzz" were frequently used to describe this substance, so how could I say no? I rejected though to accept some people's accounts of a "speedy" like effect, urination trouble, nausea, and finally the worst part - "the effects last for up to 8 hours". Again, my heart was set on this "pseudo opiate" and I acquired an amount of generic 50mg tablets. I took 3 tablets as recommended by other trip reports. Well all I can say is that it took a very long time to kick in, a little over 1.5 hours to be exact.

When I started to feel the effects, it was more of a strong buzz than anything, no real euphoria. So wanting to increase the effects, I took another 50mg tablet which I found out later was a bad idea. Well I was enjoying my buzz that had been getting stronger but I started to get very sleepy and made my way into bed (this was around 3pm; I started at about 12:30). Well I wake up somewhere around 6-7pm(falling asleep was hard, my face my very itchy, and my whole body would twitch) and I am extremely lethargic but it had turned into more a of "speedy" buzz than anything now, and when I tried to urinate it was extremely hard. So then I had the great idea of going to the library to study, which is where it went all downhill. My pupils were very tiny and this speedy feeling was very strong (I looked cracked out) but I still went to the library.

When I got there I got extremely thirsty so I got a drink of water, but then I started to become extremely hot and took off the sweater I was wearing, now just sitting in the library with an undershirt on. However I kept getting hotter and then had the immediate urge to vomit. So I immediately had to leave and I went outside in the cold (30 degrees F) and cooled down and struggled not to puke all the way back to my room. I never puked but felt like shit the whole night, and woke up with the same feeling.

In all, I don’t know if I took too much, but this was not a very pleasant experience and lasted entirely too long. I would not recommend this to anyone. I still have quite a few left, but I am reluctant to try this out again.

I used to enjoy tramadol, but now find that it leads to dysphoria. (the exact opposite of euphoria). Also, I found that I often experienced leg and arm twitches when I used tramadol. Weird stuff. Although at low doses, it seems to work quite well as a rapid acting anti depressant. (it has ssri effects, or something like that.)

200mg is a helluva dose for your first time. How much do you weigh? I'm 200lbs and I only needed 80mg my first time. I still only take up to 150 max.

Tramadol is very relaxing and enjoyable and a wonderful all day mood-enhancer. Just don't overdose yourself.

For me it was fun until I started taking it too often, even without a tolerance build-up. Now I only enjoy it when I take the pills sparingly (or sometimes I take them a few days apart, but with a benzo or two).

It's an OTC drug from where I am, and I haven't bought it for almost two months. I doubt I'll buy it anytime soon since my dad has an unlimited supply of benzos, lol
