Tramadol - First time - Report

Tramadol is just great. any dose, sometimes I dose 25mg every hour or so. It's just perfect for my pain and my depression...doesn't help with headaches, though, but I get migraines. Clonazepam, I just have to be careful with...a certain amount = fun, but just a little more = blackout for two days.
 
I have had a lot of experience with powerful opiates, oxycontin, oxymorphone, heroin..... but never tramadol. Was just given 200 mgs and ate it..... halfway empty stomach but nonetheless curious to see if it does anything...
 
I have been on Tramadol for like a year now and I am in love with the stuff.. I pretty much take it everyday. Don't even have to take anything else with it.. I take about 150 mg and maybe a half and I am good all night and into the morning.. I have gotten two jobs while on it also :) I have been promoted too.. I personally think it is better than any other type of stronger drug besides tussionex.. Nothing last as long and it nevers slowly goes away.. I take it at 7 and go to bed high at like 5 in the morning.. sometimes I am high when I wake up.

Ugh, I wish I would have seen this much sooner... tramadol acts as an SSRI of sorts, so it can be quite dangerous to take with MDMA/ecstacy. Not only will taking it with stimulants increase the likelihood of having a seizure and/or heart attack (the ODB died from tramadol plus stimulants), but it may also increase the risk of serotnin syndrome. Tramadol can be dangerous to mix with things, so be especially careful.
 
I've always found tramadol fun and very enjoyable...very much not a typical opioid, but none the less, I say its more an opioid then it is anything else.

I usually take 500+ and around 1000mg had some very minor convulsions/muscle twitching..but not full on seizures...taking it with benzo's will make it safer in terms of seizure activity, and make it easy to grab a nod! So probably not too bad of an idea.

Tramadol potentiates my oxy to. Sometimes when i take oxy, if i didn't get a good nights sleep i feel a lazy oxy high the next day, i pop a few Tramadol and I'm ready to go.

I've taken up to 11 50mg pills at a time and never had a seizure. But, i took that many because my Tramadol tolerance had sky rocketed. I only take about 6 at a time now and only 3 when mixing with another opiate. But, just because i haven't had a seizure doesn't mean it's not possible. Some people have a seizure just after taking 1. I could never take 11 of them now.

Tramadol was my DOC for a few years. I JUST LOVED THE STUFF. Like someone else said above, i cleaned house and i cleaned it GOOD!! I worked on all kinds of projects and never tired or got bored. What i really loved about Tramadol was how it helped my ADD (all opiates help my ADD except Morphine). But Tramadol helped it amazingly.

I moved up the opiate ladder to Oxy and Fent so i don't get that same wonderful response from Tramadol like i did 2 years ago but it's a great potentiator if you need a little more stimulation than your DOC is giving you, like if your tired or something.

And i too had trouble sleeping if i took Tramadol later than 5 pm-ish

wow i thought tramadol was a little pain killer. ive been taking it since high school cuz my mom gave it to me. hmm
