Hey, just got prescribed some Tramadol KRKA, 100mg pills, extended release ones.
I remember that i took 400mg's about a month ago, and it really helped with my back pain.
So i took 4 pills at monday evening, but that didn't satisfied me, so i took one more.
At first, it was really enjoyable. My Jaw locked, my muscles relaxed, and warmness came, i felt euphoric.
At first it was really stimulating, i tied my room, and i was very talkative, but then, after few more hours
i felt really tired, and overwhelmed with the effects. I was a bit nausous, felt some anxiety.
Decided that i should go to sleep. Felt much better when i lied on my bed, but i couldn't sleep.
Woke up few hours later, it was really hard to sleep, i found myself twitching, my jaw was twitching too.
a lot of itchines and dizzines. My head started to hurt alot after i woke up, and nausea was taking me over
the whole day i felt that the effects still going. i slept whole next day.
Today i took 300mg's and it's still the same.
Am i sensitive to tramadol, or what? It's really strange that i cant handle it.
I dont understand the tremors, can it lead to seizures or epileptic attack?

Higher dosages of tramadol (400mg or so +) can cause seizures...the tremors are probably a sign that you're taking too high of a dose.

What dosage are you prescribed (per day)?

Tramadol can induce such reactions as you described (anxiety, tremor, insomnia) w/o inducing a full-blown seizure, however, it is a drug that does lower the seizure threshold, and a larger dose would lower it more than a smaller dose. I would use it very carefully or not at all if you are taking other drugs which lower the seizure threshold or if you have a known seizure disorder. Otherwise, I would decrease the dose to probably no more than 200 mg tramadol extended-release, and see how you do there.

Well it was a stupid idea to take 600mgs...God help me to live thru this experience.
If i only would have some benzos...Thanks for your replies :)

Careful with benzos, while they can help with some the adverse reactions you are talking about, they can also lead to increased CNS depression, particularly respiratory depression. I don't know your opioid tolerance really, or your benzo tolerance, but the combo is potentially very dangerous, so please only use relatively small doses of benzos.

like everyone said, you're taking too high of a dose. tramadol is something that can really mess you up if you take too much, and if you can't feel it without exceeding 200mg then you should try a different pill.
