Misc Tramadol+Diphenhydramine HCL(benadryl)

Good evening! I was curious about something and would appreciate any and all information on this.

If I was to hypothetically take 500mg of DPH(diphenhydramine), would it be okay to take 100-250mg of tramadol whilst on the DPH?

Someone I know has done benadryl at higher doses than this, and also has experience with pain killers like oxycodone and tramadol. Would a medium dose of tramadol like that be dangerous(considering it already is on it's own) when working in combination with a high dose of DPH?

Why the fuck would you take 500mg of Benadryl? If you're trying to potentiate the Tramadol just take like 50-75 mg of Benadryl.

^This. Don't get high on antihistamines. Just take the Tramadol if you want a buzz. And I doubt it would be safe since Diphenhydramine lowers the seizure threshold and Tramadol is known to cause seizures in higher doses. So yeah, this seems very dangerous and unnecessary .

Thank you this is actually useful information. I had no idea DPH lowered the seizure threshold even after doing my research lol.

These are two surprisingly dangerous medicines despite their relative legality. DPH will just make you drowsy, and at 500mg, make you feel awful. Straight up dysphoria. Might as well just take the tramadol with a tiny bit of DPH added.
