Hey everyone, today i just wanted to share that I felt my first BUZZ from opiodes, in this case was Tramadol.

I was nodding off , and felt a sensation in my body, more likely in my chest.

Now that I know of this feeling. I'm scared of doing it again. I think I Will try to do it 1 time per year...

Anyway, is there a tip to get the buzz wihtout nodding off?

I'm staggering doses but my max dose is 200mg, and I don't want my tolerance to go higher than this.

I feel energy on tramadol at first then after 4 or more I still feel more hyper, maybe that's the SNRI qualitys in it, then after a good few hours I feel grouchy

I miss them but don't miss being addicted and having to stop them, it's terrible withdrawals, so don't get addicted to them

Doing it for 3 days in a row will get me withdrawls?

I wont get addicted to them, I hope. I'm trying to not . I learnt my lesson about addiction when I was younger.

No doing them for 3 days in a row isn’t enough to cause dependency and withdrawal, although people with prior opioid dependencies tend to become addicted a lot faster.

Someone new to opioids will usually need several months to become physically dependent which seems like a long time but over a few years it is easy for dosing frequency and amount to creep up.

If I may ask, what addictions have you had in the past?

In the past I had addiction to mdma every weekened, and the last one was with Benzos doin it everyday ..

I just dont want more withdrawls, benzo withdrawls was a nightmare for me.

I don't want to shit on your glorious, opiated deflowering, but Tramadol hardly counts as an opioid. A quasi-opioid maybe.
That being said, my first opi-love was Tramadol. Spent 2 years on that toxic rat-poison.

I would honestly recommend trying codeine the next time you want the opiate-buzz.
And please, take at least 3 months before doint it again, minimum.
That buzz i so fucking sneaky, and once you're in it's chokehold, you'll see new shades of hell when withdrawing.

Take it easy man, all the best to you.

Codeine I just got them with apap.

Why you mean 3 month to get another high? Because I wont get another one soon enough with the same amount or just to not get addicted to it?

I say 3 months, but I should've said a year.
Because, and if you don't trust me, trust every other heroin/ex-heroin junkie;
once you start flirting with opiates and it becomes even somewhat regular, you start rationalizing and compromising.

"I'm just gonna take sundays."
"Oh, fuck, this monday is gonna be awful. I'll make an exception."
"Fuck, gotta go meet the parents. I'll just take it today and skip it on sunday."
"What's wrong with my stomach? The anxiety? Better take one to get through the day."

The addiction sneaks up on you. It's not a bang, it's a whimper as you lay there dopesick for the first time.

Be safe, friend.

That’s just too true. People expect opioids to be so amazing and euphoric and that’s why you get strung out. IME it was the subtle effects that made me feel better than normal but still within the range of normal human experience - not obviously on a drug like something like mdma

It’s like having a drug that can turn any day into the best day, not in a high sort of way but like all your worries are gone no pain no fear or anxiety etc like a warm blanket for all the cold parts of life

It can be very seductive

Oh and I always got much better effects off trams than codes not that either one can effect me anymore 😭 nothing less than large amounts of diacetylmorphine gets me properly buzzing anymore

Fucking A, friend.
Bought a blister with 200mg Tramadol DEPOT a few months ago. That amount would last over two weeks when I started.
I ate them all within 12 hours, hardly got a buzz. And Tramadol used to be my queen.
But there's a new head bitch in charge here. Lady fkng Heroin.

This is definitely the case for me, I started with, 5mg only once in a while when I’m in a lot of pain, 30 to 60 every day 10 years now...

tramadol and codine never did anything for me.

I get withdraws daily if I don’t take it but the withdrawals are not bad until day 2 and 3, ugh..

That is what I worry about, I don’t want to ever go down that path...was it money or the bigger high that took you to heroine? If you don’t mind me asking...

Tramadol is amazing man, but you cant take every dat, at the first i'm take 2 times per week, now i'm feel like a shit if dont take, its nice but, you need take the control., taking 500mg a day for 2 weeks and still feeling but, i cant stop now, really addiction.

IME all opioids are essentially interchangeable, heroin is just a more potent opioid in the sense that an equivalent dose of heroin is less than morphine etc rather than a bigger high. Obviously personal preference comes into it and some people enjoy H more but thinking heroin is different and more dangerous is a trap (as long as I don’t use heroin I’ll be all right). It is not more dangerous, it’s just the logical conclusion of the slide into opioid addiction. The worse someone’s dependence is, the more there is to be gained by switching to cheaper/higher potency heroin - so it’s more a symptom of severe addiction and associated financial strain rather than the cause.

Lower potency opioids are just as likely to cause dependence but I will add that the associated injection culture as well as fentanyl analogue spiking do increase the risk associated with heroin

Maybe I’m just making excuses...
this is the first time in a decade of use that I could admit that I have an addiction.
I spend about $500 on a script and about 20/30 supplemental pills a month.
I feel it’s manageable for another decade if I don’t get stupid but again, maybe Im fooling myself.
my biggest fear was always the fentanyl or some other bad mix and I definitely want to avoid shooting anything.
this year has been the worst of my life (I know, get in line) but I did try to OD on purpose with pills a month back and still woke up just fine...🙄
I have always had an unusual tolerance to meds, I’m guessing h would be different 💁

you definitely have a problem, but for me the biggest problem is to be without this problem because it makes me so fucking good, I don’t know, I haven’t reached the maximum point yet.
