This morning like at 3 am I took 350 mgs of tramadol because I woke up in the start of withdrawl. So roll back and forth and dont really fall back to sleep but do feel like my nose has stoped running and not yawning as much. So 8:30 comes and Im finally able to talk to him, then hes here before 9. I do it and its like Id taken subutex or something. I can tell when it goes in but not how it should be. Is this drug just like suboxone/subutex in terms of blocking? I know some people claim they are sucsesful when they mix tramadol and subutex, because those drugs act similar in the brain. I wasnt sure that they were the same in terms of blocking other opiates. I thought maybe it would be like taking a few Norcos and then doing a shot afterwards, but no. It seems to be that tramadol does block other full agonist drugs. I can see why some people think they get some sort of synergie when they mix the subutex and tramadol because they act alike. Anybody else have this expierence? or any thing they can say about taking tramadol and any other opiate? please tell me the expierence you had taking tramadol with any other drug?

I really don't know what you mean by "I'm finally able to talk to him" but anyway, for me personally, tramadol doesn't block full agonists. And the reason people say subutex/suboxone synergizes with tramadol is because of tramadol's other actions on serotonin and norepinephrine.

I've heard from other posters, threads, and websites, that Yes, Tramadol does indeed block (or partially block) the effects of other opiates. I've only used tramadol a few times and for the same reason---to keep w/d away, but IME, it never blocked any opiates taken just a few hours later. However, I would only take around 150mg @ a time, so maybe @ a high dose like you (the OP) took, tramadol has a blocking effect.
BUT, chemically, I don't see why that would be true and IME it wasn't true, that's all I can say...

It doesn't really block anything. It just produces an array of different effects. Besides stimulating your opioid receptors barely, it also gives you kind of a upper high at the same time. I believe it works on your nmda receptors. It also has stronger effects on the second dose, due to its active metabolite being changed from one thing to the other. So your best off taking 50mgs then waiting an hour and taking the rest. And no I don't really find the effects of suboxone and tramadol the same, yeah there both stimulating but that's about it as far as similarities go.

That is how I dose when I take tramadol. It does work better when ingested that way.. It just requires some patience. Barely does anything much antways.

i've always experienced pleasant results in potentiating oxy/hydro with tramadol. tramadol has very low mu-affinity how the fuck would it be able to block it?

I dont know either. What happened was that when I had a shot there was a noticeable diminished effect that should of had me itching from my head to my toes. It felt similar to the way buprenorphine blocks when trying to shoot through it. Maybe its just me, or maybe its because I took around 400mgs. I dont kno...

^^ maybe you have over-productive cytochromes that inturn turned more of your tramadol into more of the "good stuff" which occupied some of the mu-receptors where the morphine usually binds to. very unlikely and even then morphine still has a higher affinity for the mu-receptors..., i think it is all in your head and yuo should turn on some music, close your eyes, enjoy your high and nodd out.

in my experience, tramadol has always done the opposite, that is make the high more powerful. the tramadol should have occupied the same cytochromes that metabolize morphine so you should have had more of a the morphine in your system. not to mention the tramadol will clog up some of the opiate receptors in your gut, ect.. ect... you get the point

I was taking tramadol for a minute and from my experience I think it's from the point where you blast off. Meaning if your super sick and you shoot awesome dope you get the blissful state that is probably one of the best IV rushes. But if you take tramadol and then shoot a mediocre bag of dope, no awesome rush, IMO it's like when you shoot up a few hours after you've already done a few bags. A maintenance shot of sorts.

At least that's what I found. I remember me and my then junkie friends would not take tramadol if we knew we could cop a few hours later. The blast off from utter shit to euphoria is what makes heroin so incredibly addictive.

Tramadol has never blocked opiates for me. I am one of the people who has great experiences when mixing Tramadol and Subs. Gives me kind of an oxycodone high.

it was going around that tramdol would actually cause sickness like in antagopeople would say it made them feel sicknist sickness ,for a long time
