Tramadol and Zoloft?

I take Zoloft for anxiety (150mg). Anyways I have a bunch of the stuff (well I have to check, some idiot PA wrote it instead of hydrocodone so its somewhere, I know I have one stashed away). Anyways I didn't touch the stuff for fear of seizures and shit from serotonin syndrome...has anyone done tramadol while taking zoloft? I really want assurance that its safe...I've been in intractable pain for the past 2-3 weeks from a neck injury and I don't have any strong opiates left (see my last thread why I don't..sigh*). I literally can not function without pain reduction, I can't keep my head up, get partial paralysis in my left arm with numbness and drop shit. It sucks...I don't want to be dependent on opiates forever but I don't get this fixed for a while so instead of being on crazy high does of benzos and acting like a retard I want to take this tramadol if I can. Sorry if I sound scattered brained, but these k-pins mess with my head

I used tramadol with celexa (family member of zoloft). I really reccomend that you stay away from tramadol when on an ssri. At first I didn't seize but I ended up at a higher dose. On a lower dosage I ended up with chest pains which was pretty weird and painful of course... I just higly advise you to skip the tramadol. Whether or not you seize we cannot tell you. Some seize at a low dosage others at very high ones, its risky is all I can say.

Do NOT mix tramadol and SSRIs. You are better off acting like a retard - it beats the hell out of seretonin syndrome and seizures.
