Tramadol and Oxycodone

I have access to both drugs and was wondering if anyone else has this same experience. Whenever I've taken Tramadol (at least 250 mg), I can't seem to feel any effect from the Oxycodone I take (anywhere from 15-45 mg). This mainly occurs up to 12 hours after Tramadol dose. After 12 hours, the Tram seems to have completely worn off and I can feel the Oxy.

Does Tramadol have some type of blocking mechanism on the opioid receptors? Or is my body just weird?

I've tried to research it but found conflicting data.

dunno but oxycontin is wway beter recreatioally than tramadol ime

Possibly the trams stimulation takes away from the sedation of the oxy?

Im pretty sure there isnt any opiate blocking mechanism
