tramadol and gabapentin

I have already take 400 mg of tramadol today in two 200mg doses 5 hr apart. I am wanting to take another 200mg which will be 5 hr since the last dosage. I have no history or family history of seizures. But I am still a bit worried about it being a possible side effect. How effective is gabapentin at inhibiting this side effect. And how many mg of it should be taken with the tramadol? Thanks in advance for any information you guys may be able to provide.

Are you taking the Neurontin (Gabapentin) for seizures or is it prescribed for something else? Usually normal Tram dose is 2 50mg every 4-6 hours and it can be taken with the Neurontin.
