Tramadol and alcohol

I'm looking for advice on drinking with tramadol. I got a box from a mate and I'm using them to supplement my dihyrdocodeine usage. I get DHC prescribed, and I'm using the tramadol to help cut down on the DHC from a much larger dose and to help save pills from my prescription.
I take two doses a day. Morning and dinner time. I've cut it down to Tramadol 100mg + 120mg dihyrdocodeine each dose, down from 10mg Oxy + 300mg DHC + 100 mg codeine cocktail each dose.

I've read all the caution of alcohol and tramadol for seizures etc. Do I realistically have to worry about that if I choose to have a few drinks tonight?

also please do not drink on tram its not a good idea and it wont be worth it

With a very strong disclaimer that I’m not giving medical advice here I can add that I have had a glass of wine in the evening a handful of times after taking up to 150 mg tram in the morning. Only in retrospect did it occur to me that this was not recommended. I have never heard that seizures were an issue in this context. Google told me to be concerned about excessive depressive effect along the lines of an opioid overdose. For me personally the serotonergic effects of tram are much stronger that its sedative effects. Maybe it’s more dangerous if the opiate-like effects are stronger for you. Or maybe I would have a higher seizure risk than someone who reacts differently. In any case I would never go beyond that single glsss of wine.
