Hi,

As some of you have probably surmised from my previous posts, I'm trying to get clean off of opiates. To handle the wd's I use either codeine or buprenorphine. 25mg codeine or 0.8mg bupe is enough. But that's just some background info. Here comes the point.

I also have amphetamine available. Regular speed, not meth or anything, just d-amp. With it I plan to stay awake all night (I don't think I have much of a choice anyway since I've already taken a considerable amount ;)). Tomorrow I have an appointment with a friend. We are going to the gym together to train. At that time I will without doubt be in opiate withdrawal. These are my questions: do you think it wise to work out after a night without sleep? Is it wise to work out in wd's and without sleep? Is it wise when you have been on speed the entire night?

I have two reasons for staying awake tonight: The first is that I won't be able to sleep in wd's, meaning I'll have to take either codeine or bupe and continue being addicted. The other reason is that I think the speed will make the wd's more bearable. This may sound nuts, and perhaps the exact opposite is the case. But that's why I'm asking you guys.

What do you think? Do I take an opiate and go to sleep or do I stay awake on speed? Either way I'll be working out tomorrow.

Oh and by the way, it's an hour from midnight here.

Personally D-amp and withdrawl sounds like absolute hell to me coming down from amps and withdrawl might be untolerable. Working out in withdrawls can be a good thing it releases energy and helps produce endophins so no problem there the only thing I would worry about is your blood pressure getting too high from the amps but that prolly wont be an issue in a young healthy person. That said I would continue your taper to a lower dose with drugs you have then jump off with minimal withdrawl

Well, I left this open for awhile to see if anyone would respond. I suppose I'll go ahead and close it now as it seems the OP's question was answered, but I'd be willing to re-open it if anyone would like to add anything relevant.
