Lol, there's a pretty big gap between reality and what you think is reality though.

On a related note, in the last 8 weeks of training I have put on 11kg (~1.5kg fat), and that was with a high calorie, high protein diet. If I had to choose between 1) doing cardio and going hungry every day or 2) eating 4500 calroies of good food and doing weight-training 3-4 times a week, I know what I'd choose :)
 
11kg is pretty damn impressive even if it is muscle memory combined with cycling gains. What were you running again?
