A satellite dish peeks like an inquisitive,
informative impostor
From the roof of a slum
in Bangkok: city of contrast.

A bright-red and slogan-bearing
dish on a rust-red
corrugated iron roof.

I catch minute glimpses of culture
from a train window:
Shrines among rubbish
residing in yards of rubbish:
trash territory.

Hyundai's and Toyota's
with gold-rimmed wheels
parked in imaginary automatic garages.

When i read this it leaves me with a feeling of wanting to read more, go into more depth within your verbal discription defining various other landscapes. I enjoy this immensely.

Nicely done. I was in Bangkok last year, and this gave me glimpses back to the city.

I can get my fill of this city from this probably one of the last places I would try to visit would love to see Thailand don't get me wrong
