Chaotic Action Man
Bluelighter
you can catch the clouds reflection in their mirrored surface
they create duplicity:
the real,
and the unreal,
almost but never touching.
two twins,
two realities,
neither one aware
of their other.
spiralling upwards
modern day towers of babel
seek to reach a god that
most do not believe and
other takes for granted.
“is he there?” they ask,
themselves looking up
at their own reflections
in the grasping glass fingers,
as modern day conveniences hurtle past
at breath taking speeds.
what need do we have
of god and angels?
why should we feel bad
for destroying more then we create?
for there is no hell
if there is no heaven,
and our conscious that guide us
are nothing more than mere folly,
holding us back from the power
or wealth we can create.
will we find out too late
when the growl of the tigers
disappear from the forests
to be replaced by the growl of a v12
or the siren song of the whale
no longer is heard in the deep of the ocean?
will we finally see
at the end
that we held the power of salvation
and traded it in
for the power of a keyboard
instead of the pen.
