Future Music Festival 2010 tour dates:

1. Sat Feb 27 – Brisbane, Doomben Racecourse
2. Sun Feb 28 – Perth, Ascot Racecourse
3. Sat Mar 6 – Sydney, Royal Randwick Racecourse
4. Sun Mar 7 – Melbourne, Flemington Racecourse
5. Mon Mar 8 – Adelaide, Rundell & Rymill Parks

At the top of the list are live titans The Prodigy, returning after blowing away tens of thousands of punters on the Big Day Out tour earlier this year. Accompanying them will be a number of acts that are part of Future strategy to push their festival in more a of ‘live’ direction – with Scottish cross-over rockers Franz Ferdinand playing alongside Empire Of The Sun, Booka Shade and Does It Offend You, Yeah?. It’s a selection of bands that will no doubt see the festival drawing a much wider audience next year.

But that’s not to say that lovers of pure dance culture have been neglected, as the roster of DJs on this year’s lineup is simply huge. Bedrock maestro John Digweed is returning to FMF along with the iconic Sven Vath, while trance titans Above & Beyond will be making their debut on the tour.

House fans will be represented by David Guetta and Erik Morillo, and there’s still plenty more acts to be announced. Simply massive.

Future Music Festival 2010 lineup:

The Prodigy
Empire Of The Sun
Franz Ferdinand
Booka Shade
John Digweed
Sven Vath
David Guetta
Erick Morillo
Above & Beyond
Dubfire
Boys Noize

Does It Offend You, Yeah?
And many more to be added!

What is up with lame arse indie bands on *what used to be* electronic music festival line ups these days?

This and Good vibes are suffering from this.

lame.

None the less FMF still has a lot that I like at it. Be good to see prodigy and above and beyond again.

good line up, empire of the sun are way over-rated though, seen them live at parklife in sydney.

Ill be at the Perth Future for sure..Keen to see Prodigy ;)

RSVPing for Brissy.

Have a huge crew going too so will be fun!

I haven't seen Prodigy live since the 90's.

They go off!!! I would have loved to see them back then! I caught them at the arena back around 2005, (can't rememebr much of that night lol - orange butterflies aplenty if anyone remebers those ;)) and again last year at riverstage. Riverstage was a much better venue for them and I had a good old stomp.

I'll be at FMF but working and spreading the harm minimisation love so might not see them this time around. Thinking about the 11th March show on the Gold Coast but I might not have the funds.... $92 tickets :(

I'll be headed to the Melbourne show. I am hyped to see Morillo, Sven, Dubfire, Digweed and Above and beyond. This is sure to be an awesome show. Hope to see some of you all out.

Melbourne it is.

Would be fantastic to bump into some old school faces. Above & Beyond, Sven Vath and John Digweed should be fantastic.

I hope future pull out all stops on Production, I was disappointed with Summadayze this year.

At least Empire of the Sun should put on a fantastic display.
