TORN HEART

He came, He went,
They laughed, They cried.
His HEART torn in two....
A part of her slowly died.
A SOUL filled with patience,
Over and over they tried.
Many nights they comforted each
OTHER.
They're LOVE......
so many times they denied.
Switching back and forth from
LOVER to LOVER. To her,
so many times he lied.
He was to her and her to him....
A BROTHER, a SISTER, a FRIEND,
the significant OTHER.
He must forget both;
One is CONCEIVING, the other
is LEAVING.
MEMORIES of BOTH evade his heart,
his soul.
He loves her, he loves the other;
TWO so different, yet so alike.
A YEARNING so diiferent for
both.
A DECISION never to be made...
FORGET him, FORGET her, FORGET
the other.
