Hey you guys, I'm TorDemon.

I'm not really sure what I'm allowed to say or what I should say, yet, so I'll ramble about and I hope one of you kind souls may redirect me if I go off into inappropriate discussion. I've stalked around here on occasion for quite some time to try to find missing pieces of information about certain substances, but now I have finally decided to take the plunge into membership.

My hobbies include drug use, digital art, computer programming, basketball, listening to music, and other shit I've forgotten.

My favorite drug so far was probably DOC, which I took probably 5 months ago or so. I totally wasn't expecting this because many people had said that it was a shitty experience, but I took it any way. I also expected it to be sub-par because I was by myself for the vast majority of the trip, and I usually like to trip with a group of friends. But it was absolutely amazing. I felt great, the visuals were amazing, and I was actually entirely alright with the length of the trip (12+ hours can seem like a lot!). My favorite part was when I went outside the next morning (I dropped around 8PM) and saw the clouds, and I discovered that I could morph the clouds at will into any shape that I desired. This favorite is despite having committed felonious cactophagy just a few days ago. I certainly enjoyed that experience as well, but it didn't really compare to DOC.

In general with drugs, I get extremely strong reactions my first time. My first psychedelic was a 2C, and I tripped for 3 days, not being able to sleep (even with Ambien) for 5 days. My first opiate was my oxycodone script. I took the 10mg pill and broke it in half, insufflating one half of the pill (ie 5mg). I felt good for about an hour and a half until I started to feel sick. I then paid my penance to the porcelain gods for almost 12 hours straight, visiting them on occasion for another 8 hours after that. This happens with most first times with a drug for me, so I try to start low. But, once I've taken it once, I can usually manage much higher dosages. For example, my second oxy experience a few weeks later was 10mg insufflated and I had no problems. A few weeks later I went for 40mg insufflated, and I was fine. It's a strange phenomenon how the first time always gets me, but, also, drugs usually seem to last much longer in me. I don't know if I have a slow metabolism or if I'm just better at recognizing when I'm still high, but I'll usually continue to get visuals from a psychedelic for hours after everybody else has claimed to come down.

This is a drug forum so I don't think you guys want me talking about the other stuff too much, but I'll still add it. I like to make digital art a lot. I don't usually do anything in particular with it; I'll make it my desktop background or post it somewhere on the internet. I've been programming computers for a long time, and so I really enjoy the mental challenge of putting together these vast sets of instructions to guide the computer in completing the task I want it to complete. Very enjoyable in my opinion. I play basketball (and sometimes frisbee, too) in order to keep my body happy with me; I always seem to become a mess without my endorphins. Music is really great. I've been into music for as long as I can remember, as I'm sure many people have. Nowadays I'm mostly into Alternative Rock, but I can usually find it easy to enjoy anything that is not Rap of Country. That's not to say that I don't like any songs in either category (there are some in each that I actually like, but most I don't), and that's not saying one is better than the other (I think trying to explain how one type of music is better than another is just stupid), but I just usually like them less. In particular circumstances, I can see how dubstep (and other electronica) and drugs can go so well together. A simple example of the Electronica was that my friends and I watched the visual album Further by the Chemical Brothers when we were coming up on the Mescaline, and I must say it was absolutely fantastic.

Alright. I hope that you all can be a great resource to me in my adventures, and I hope likewise that I may be a resource to you all in your adventures.

So long and happy trails. I shall see you around.

Peace,
TorDemon.

Hello TorDeem :)
There are only two genres of music, and those are good music & bad music. ;)
Swing into Non-Electronic Music Discussion if you'd like. We talk about literally every kind of music there. The link to that is the music notes in my signature ;)
I really liked your intro, it was very well written. Perhaps you may find some sections like Trip Reports fun if you ever feel the urge to type up some of the experiences you've had on drugs.

Also here's a thread you may enjoy. I'd say check out some of the talent Bluelighters can have, it can be really impressive. I'd also encourage you to share some of your digital art with us in that thread!
If you need help with finding anything don't be afraid to ask me or anyone else here in your intro thread. We're all a friendly bunch, us BLers.
Happy posting!

Haha, thanks for the introduction, here, Laika.

I didn't really realize how much stuff there is around here on Bluelight, though. I'd always visited to find interesting information about drugs and such, but there really is so much more here.

As for the music, haha, yea, I like the good music. Every once in a while I'm tempted to admit that there might be a third category, great music, but I haven't actually dared to put anything into the category, yet.

Those pieces of artwork were indeed really cool, but I'm probably not quite ready to be posting mine in there. I did the digital artwork stuff a lot around 5 years ago, and I've just started to get back into it, so I'm going to need some practice, first. =P

there's always some folks in the Psychedelic Drugs forum showing their art around :) there's a Big & Dandy Psychedelic Art thread i think, and also the social thread that is stickied at the top of that forum gets a lot of people sharing psychedelic inspired art.

DOC is one of my favorite drugs too :)

welcome to the board tordemon, hope ya stick around!
