Topix transplants

OK, here we are and already we have made a name for ourselves here, getting reprimanded by the mods, ha, ha. Anyway, I started this as per mod so that we may have our exchanges here and not hijack other's threads keeping our drama to ourselves. I know it is late and many of you have gone night, night but maybe I will see some of you here tomorrow. Have a good night and don't forget to toggle back and forth as to get your fill of the trolling madness on topix recently, ha,ha. Hi Jules, I think everyone can and will see this place is much better. On the TallCan thing, Does this dude post under mant different names? I know he does, some are very obvious, like when he is messing with Misty etc.....

I have faith that Topix can be cleaned up, especially since the "impostor" has admitted guilt and is ready to move on...

I do admit that there will always be someone that tries to ruin things, that is a part of life we will just have to get used to.

Check this: I rented a moving truck from Budget and returned it in the same condition I picked it up, after a 2 day rental. This was 01 FEB 2009. I heard nothing about it, received no phone calls, nothing. Two days ago I received a letter dated 30 APR 2009 stating that I owed Budget $980 for damage to the right passenger side door. Smoke start pouring out of my ears. The letter went on to say, "...since you declined our insurance, it is your responsibility to pay the amount enclosed..." I looked through the paperwork and this "collision" was reported by the Budget office on 05 FEB 09 and assessed by a claim specialist on 17 FEB 09. I AM EXTREMELY AGITATED OVER THIS! If they think I am going to pay for damage that was incurred as it sat in the parking lot anytime between the Sunday it was dropped off and the Thursday they reported it, BUDGET IS INSANE! I have NEVER been scammed like this, I am in shock...

 

That is redic, there must be some recourse you can take. If anyone can figure this out, it is you. Some dumbass who works there prob did it and figured he would just pawn off the damage on you. Little do they know who they are messing with ha,ha. Stuff like this happens all the time, you will get it resolved. Let me know what comes of this, I am curious. Getting involved with opening the pool today, so I am off to the Pool store to spend who knows how much on chemicals. I would never put a pool in if I didn't have one. They are so much work and time. Yesterday we took the cover off and it looks like The Adam's Family pool. I could hardly see the bottom, must have been a hole in the cover. Well, I am off, talk later. ood luck with the truck rental thing.

I even got help with a legal question on here! haha Monday my daughter's (who will be 15 in July) father served me with court papers to get custody of our daughter so he won't have to pay child support! The thing is he hasn't been in her life for like 12 yrs!! He JUST started paying child support about 2 yrs ago! I don't get it! I was pi$$ed!! The only reason why he is doing it is so he doesn't have to pay the stupid 261.00 a month!! He has beat my daughter 1 time. I'm getting the police & DCF report on that, & she doesn't want to live with him!! Sorry I'm going on! But thank u!! Oh & I talked to Jeanette today. If u want send me a private message (b/c I don't know how! haha) I will give u my #. I would rather tell u on the phone than sit here & type it. It is a long story! And I HAVE to get laundry & the house cleaned. The kids will be getting home soon. I can't spend a lot of time on the computer!! haha

What's up, Jules. I'm here too from 'the sith that shall remain unmentioned' hehe. I reat the intro thread and just thought "Oh my God" it was the same exact thing. I don't know how many of the users there have experience with moderated sites, but that thread ended up being horrible. I hope the mods don't associate everyone as one with that site and classify everyone as the Topix idiots. All the supid ass drama can stay over there, ya know? If someone decided to come here and continue stupidity all it takes is a quick message to a mod and they can decide to boot the person and wipe out the thread. I feel bad because most of us aren't like that and within 1 day someone takes a big shit on this respectable forum and with everyone jumping ship and coming here at the same time it just made us all look bad. I guess theres so many people on there that are so used to being able to use free speech to it's absolute fullest that they don't know how to conduct themseves in a similar manner anymore. Hell, the mods already locked out the thread. Good for them. Being that I was on the old site, it was embarrassing. I was kind of like "Shit I should just not even associate my name to it" hehe. But it'll straighten out pretty quick. I used to frequent this site a LOT in the past and the mods are on top of their game. BTW I'm the guy who was the drug dealer, the drug abuser, the guy with a whore of a wife, the guy that can't take care of his kids and the guy who fakes all his injuries just to get on welfare and do drugs....any clues ring a bell there hehe. If he should rear his ugly face he will be booted immediately. I know exactly what you are saying about the initial thread we started. I got an email it was closed down earlier today. I had headed the mod's advice yesterday and started this blog, seeing that that thread was going downhill and quick. I was just wondering if you had gotten anymore insight as to how J came to all of those conclusions. I am going to email her after this and see if I can get anymore info on her reasons for doing that. Have a good night and will post at ya later.

While you are all welcome here, please keep in mind that although we have social forums in which inane chatter occurs with some frequency, our primary focus is harm reduction relating to drugs with a focus on responsible use of MDMA and the like.

Just so you know as well Jules, you have the 'moderate comments' option on. All that means is that while you can see people's replies, other people cannot see them until you approve them.

When you make an entry, there is a little check box beneath the text box indicating whether or not you want to moderate comments. The default is on, but it seems like most people prefer to have others see everyone's comments. It's up to you how you like it, and if you'd like I can approve the currently unapproved comments-- just let me know.

Also, welcome! I've never heard of Topix, but my curiosity has been piqued. Might be a fun place for the Lounge rats to go troll.

 

Dave, topix used to be an awesome forum with a bunch of regulars posting and when some noobs came asking for help it was always readily available. Now there have been quite a few people who just like to make ignorant and abusive posts and post comments under other's names (if you do not register anyone can post using your name) and some misunderstandings ensued. Anyway, we came here to post in peace and leave the drama for topix. There are no moderators there so you can imagine the type of stuff that goes on. After posting in a controlled environment like this you will be appalled. We will do our best to follow the rules. I know I have read them and one of us has been a member here for a while, so he is well aware of the rules too. Look forward to posting with you again soon and thanks for the welcome. It's funny, I just happen to come here today to see if anyone had posted recently and I see you just posted. I haven't been here in weeks due to the lack of enthusiasm from our topix counterparts. It is refreshing to see how there is no bullshit tolerated here. Some are intimidated by it but I find it very cool. Lets see if we can maybe up the enthusiasm level to transition everyone here. It may just be a cool place to post for the regs. I will post a link again today and see if anyone is truly interested.
