Top 5 NATURAL drugs that are still legal in your country

kratom.

i like tea and coffee too if you consider those drugs (I do). tobacco is alright

Scopolamine can produce very strange and unique visuals in my opinion. I'll almost definitly do datura again in my lifetime for the visuals. Also I think horrid is too strong of a word, seeing as the experience is usually not unpleasent. It's just not pleasent and can end in some sticky situations, which is why a trip sitter should always be present during scopolamine or any other similar drug (diphenhydramine comes to mind).

My top five at the moment (alcohol is off the list since I don't drink, but it'd be there if I did) would probably be-

Peruvian Torch cactus
Mimosa Hostilis Rootbark/giant river reed/Diplopterys cabrerana/any other decent DMT containing plant that's legal
Salvia (damn is it unpleasent but the trip is so weird that I consider it worth occaisional use)
HBWR seeds
Tea and coffee and yerba mate, because I use caffeine every day and it helps me function. Tea in particular is nice and calm and yerba mate has a great feel to it in my opinion. Coffee is delicious, but I don't drink it much these days.

Harmala alkaloids/P. Harmala are also a great legal thing. I took Kratom off the list after remembering tea and coffee.

I just read that misletoe contains 1-ethyltryptamine, which I found interesting for some reason.
 
After reading this, I ordered some Kanna, I'm looking forward to its arrival. It sounds interesting.

So far for me:

Ephedra
Coffee
And Blue Lotus

I am looking forward to trying Kanna, And I really want to try good Kava, my experiences with it so far have not been great, but I know it wasn't the good stuff.

Betel nut make me want to vomit, and I never had any luck with it.
 
Sweet Flag has some essential oils which are precursors to other illicit phenethylalamines....However, I believe that like Sassafras, small amounts will be turned into related drugs simply as byproducts of their metabolism inside the liver....you probably wont get a huge effect from this, and trying to go beyond that ceiling may result in toxicity rather than increased euphoria, but these plants can be brewed/steeped in small amounts in their fresh/moist state to give a psychoactive/stimulant/aphrodisiac tea a little push adding some lucidity to it.....Combine with some Sida-Cordifolia otherwise known as country mallow, maybe some damiana, a caffeine containing plant....I would add other interesting odds and ends, sometimes using Ma Huang in very carefully measured doses instead of the Mallow, maybe throw some interesting 'seeds' in there to give life some lucidity....Good stuff. Adding other aphrodisiacs like Muiria Puama is a great choice too.

People used to love my tea. They would pay me to brew it up at parties.
 
I'm in Australia and I don't think there's much that's still legal here...

Tobacco is though ;)

Vision Quest: morning glory seeds used for century

morning glory seeds are used by some cultures for vision quest purposes.

The little brown seeds of several varieties of Morning Glory (Ipomoea violacea) contain a naturally occurring tryptamine called Lysergic Acid Amide (LSA), which is closely related to LSD. Seeds are ingested orally, and can be eaten whole or the active alkaloids can be extracted. They can be ground and used to prepare a tea; or the active compound can be extracted using solvents. LYSERGIC ACID DIETHYLAMIDE (LSD).

The most common active varieties of seeds among the morning glory are the Hawaiian baby woodrose, Heavenly Blue, Pearly Gates, and Flying Saucers. Like LSD, LSA acts as a "psychedelic" or "hallucinogen" which can have strong mental effects, however they are only about 5% to 10% as potent as LSD.

Although LSA is a schedule III substance in the United States, Morning Glory seeds and plants are sold at just about every nursery, garden store, or botanical supply store that you can find. There are hundreds of sites on the internet alone where you can buy them. In practice, little hassle is ever given to those who buy and ingest seeds, but extracting the active ingredient puts you in possession of a relatively pure chemical which is illegal to possess.

To discourage morning glory's use as hallucinogenic drugs, some commercial seed producers have started treating seeds with a chemical that will not wash off. This chemical has been known to cause vomiting, nausea and abdominal pain. Seeds are also sometimes treated with Methyl mercury to prevent spoilage. These in themselves are poisonous and can cause liver and neurological damage (to the brain and nerves). Nausea is common even with untreated seeds.
EFFECTS
Onset: Because use is oral, onset of effects are affected by the last food that was ingested. On a relatively empty stomach, onset is about an hour after ingestion, although it can be many hours before peak effects are reached. The seeds produce less anxiety, and less intensity than LSD in normal doses.

Duration: Use of the seeds produce an LSD like experience lasting about 6-10 hours when seeds are taken orally, but with less hallucinogenic effects.
 
And on the LSA thing - I remember the first time i had those.....
Had Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds..

They took ages to come on and i kept taking more and more, chewing them up and swallowing them after scraping the coating off... I ended up having about 16 seeds and I tripped hard. At the end of it I could see how the universe worked..

Then it all sorta turned against me and I felt like i was on the edge of insanity for about 6 hours and could not stop thinking...

Obviously I did try them again, just not in the same dose range.
 
Im in Winnipeg with absolutely nothing to do. I want to try Kava.

Would buying a bottle of Kava from a store be enough to get the euphoric high it produces? Do they even sell bottles of Kava? If so, how would I know which one to get? I can't order online, so it would need to be bought from a store.

If Kava would be out of the option, what is the most EUPHORIC natural high that I could get at any store?

I bought about a kilo of kava once.. I tried it a few times and had no effect.

I put it aside and didnt try it again for like a year, then finally I started using it again.. It tasted horrible..

Finally after about 4-5 goes of trying different methods of straining and filtering after mixing, i just blended a load of the powder and drank it back.. (makes me queazy thinking about it now)
I definitely finally felt it. Felt almost mdma like..

Anyway - like someone else said - in Australia, there's not much around. Sure you can extract DMT out of acacia trees and such, but i dont own toluene or whatever you need to extract it.. There seems to be a few meth-heads around.. but I dont really like that stuff at all.

Wouldnt mind trying some mescaline.. or a speedball of smack and coke..

Could you explain the method you used to prepare the kava to where it "felt like MDMA"?

when i was back home in ocny, we all took those morning glory seeds, my neighbor grew them.. we took this shit my friend was calling C2E. it was a clear capsule with white powder in it. i don't know capsule sizes exactly but, this one was about the size of a tylenol gelcap, about 3/4 full of white powder.. i'm not entirely sure if it was legal or not....

anywho!!! since i just saw this....

i too would like to hear about how you to prepare kava where it felt like that. i have never made kava myself. have only ordered it and watched them make it. i used to drink these "black pearls", a kratom and kava mixture... it had my lips numb, and i was feeling pretty euphoric, but not nearly as strong as xtc... the drinks are not too cheap either.
 
I had gotten frustrated with all the mixtures I had been making up and drinking without it doing anything except making my mouth a little numb.
So I put ALOT of kava into a blender and just drank it all... every time i think of it it makes me remember drinking it and nearly puking..

Anyway it wasnt like being on X, i just said it was ALMOST mdma-like.. just the best way I could describe it. Pupils were dilated.. anyway i gotta go out, would write more.. later.
