seriously? i haven't seen that movie for fucking years but i used to love it!! =D

The number of people who have put "TheNightmare Before Christmas" as a top choice worries me, considering its not even disney. Still fuckin wicked tho.

Mulan. That scene where the mongol horde charges down the mountain. Top Quality shit there likes.
"What are you? A sheep?"

Toy Story (1) Totally original, comical and great fun. The first of many post-modern pisstakes, but still a good laugh.
"What if its another dinosaur?! A bigger one! I dont think I could take that kinda rejection"

Jungle Book. As has been said, its the best. By a long long shot. Baloo is possibly the most downrite funky chilled out character in the whole disney universe. Would love to kick it with him sometime.
"Whaddaya wanna do?"

Lion King. Another Classic, totally original story, funky songs and some quality moments, depsite a slightly tacky/predictable ending. Then again, its disney.
"Its means your a baboon, and I'm not."

Dumbo. Pink Elephants.
"Hey, Thatsh a pretty shlick shtrick... Now blow a greeaaat big one"

i will have to narrow it down to:

101 dalmatians
sword in the stone
alice in wonderland
aladdin
lion king

close for the list are:
winnie the pooh
little mermaid
sleeping beauty
monsters, inc.
who framed roger rabbit

i like most all of them. i never saw beauty and the beast, either toy stories, or bug life.

1. The Little Mermaid. This cannot be beaten, though now I find it a bit disturbing that Ariel gets married at age 16 in that hideous dress with puffy sleeves.

2. Robin Hood. I had this movie on tape for years, and a few years ago I thought I didn't want it anymore and taped over it. A decision I have regretted ever since.

3. Beauty and the Beast. Gaston's such a scoundrel.

4. Aladdin. Aladdin and Jasmine are the sexiest Disney couple ever.

5. The Lion King. I cried when Mufasa died the first time I saw it. Also, it has sentimental value as when it came out I had a monster crush on Jonathan Taylor Thomas.

For a kid, the secret of NIMH was both wonderful and terrifying. Srsly.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Don Bluth produced this cartoon, a Disney animator who worked on both Robin Hood and the Rescuers prior to becoming disenchanted and struck out on his own, taking with him Gary Goldman and a slew of other former Disney employees in tow. The Secret of NIMH would be their first project , based on a Robert C. O'Brien novel entitled Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH.

I just had to include it here even if technically it isnt a Disney production becauyse I love it so much =D

erm... original my ass! It's a stright rip-off of Kimba the White Lion by Osamu Tezuka.

I think that sums it up briliantly. I love The Secret of NIMH - even have the DVD. :)

In no particular order:

--Robin Hood
--Toy Story 1
--Alice in Wonderland (A very happy unbirthday... ;) )
--The Lion King
--Beauty and the Beast

my long time personal favorites...

sleeping beauty
finding nemo
the lion king

new favorite: madagascar (it's by disney, right?)

I just saw Finding Nemo for the hundredth time and it had me in peals of laughter and the occasional sniffles by the end of it. I LOVE IT! I'm going to watch The Incredibles now on the Disney Channel =D I absolutely love both of these . What a great way to spend Saturday night ;)

Lilo and Stitch (one of my favorite movies EVER!!!)
Sleeping Beauty
Aladdin (even the sequels were pretty good)
Robin Hood

and I can't decide on a fifth!!! :)

1. Sleeping Beauty
2. Dumbo
3. Lion King
4. Pinnochio
5. Aladdin

honorable mention: Finding Nemo

I can't believe that no-one has said The Jungle Book. Best disney ever and definately the best soundtrack out of all of them.
