my Top Five Walt Disney Cartoons EVER! I know...i know...im pretty old :)

1. Cinderella - that evil fat cat, the perils of Gus and the mice, bibbity bobbity boo...i watched this cartoon on Betamax maybe five times a day when i was little :)

2. Sleeping Beauty - oooh you just gotta love Malificent. And at least the Prince does some REAL work chopping through the thorn forest before he gets to kiss Aurora. And that soundtrack! Especially the tense rifts just when the Princess goes up the stairs to the spinning wheel. And i always wish i could clean my room just like the fairygodmothers *sigh*

3. Pinocchio - This cartoon both entertained and frightened me each and everytime i watched it (which was a LOT.) Those awful donkeys, that ocean, et.al. Took me a while to get over my fear of boats. But i just love Jimminy Cricket! ..."give a lil whistle..

4. Dumbo - Man, now that i think about it...that sequence of "big elephants on parade" and "Heffalumps and Woozles" was like having a k/acid trip while watching it....no wonder those scenes always hypnotized me when i was a kid! Darn!

5. Finding NEmo - ok...i know this is a pixar/disney film...but its one of the later movies that reminded me of how GOOD cartoons can be, just like when i was a kid. I can watch this ten times a day! lol!

YOU?

disney cartoons are the animated equivalent of the runaway bride, or Armageddon. They have little value outside of selling beachtowels and encouraging people to go to orlando florida.

That said, I liked beauty and the beast the most.

Alice in Wonderland
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Pinocchio & The Emperor of the Night
Fantasia
Fantasia 2000

That Pinocchio movie is really trippy, especially when he gets drunk. It isn't the original Pinocchio movie, it might not even be made by Disney though. It has James Earl Jones as a voice.

The Lion King (my favorite)
Sleeping Beauty
Rescuers Down Under
Fantasia
Fantasia 2000

honorable mention - The Jungle Book

and I love all the Disney/Pixar films

Alice in Wonderland
Pinocchio
Dumbo
Fantasia

all the best to watch on drugs, simply because they're all good stories and all very eclectic. Lion King and Finding Nemo are my two favourites sober, though.

LMAO!!!! delayed reaction or what! =D

I Love The Fox and The Hound because it's so beautiful and touching, I totally cry every time...

the original Robin Hood, where the characters were foxes and bears.
I still have that video to this day, and it never gets old.
