and have looked after them pretty well all my life like cleaning every second day-ish.

Man, cleaning your teeth ''every second day-ish'' isn't looking after them pretty well You should be brushing them at a minimum once daily, ideally 2 - 3 times, if you wanna keep them in good shape. But hey, it's your mouth.

I also wondered whether the PEG in e-cigs helped, as it was my upper left canine, right where I hold my ecig, a PEG is a hell of a solvent. Dunno about on tooth enamel though.

I think it probably did, e-cigs are generally awesome, but they cause pretty major dehydration, which as has been pointed out, isn't good for your teeth. I had to drink a ton of water when I was using one, and I'm still pretty sure my teeth are more sensitive after that few months of e-cig use than they were beforehand. Haven't seen a dentist in the interim so I'm not sure on the specifics.

I'm trying to hold it deeper in my mouth, not against my teeth. I've only been using ecigs as I haven't had a real smoke in coming up on a month. I don't really get the dehydration thing.

But some of my teeth problems also come from the fact that I have a really bad habit of teeth grinding and chewing while dosed and even since I stopped taking it all together.
That and the fact that when you are dosed and out and about for extended periods of time without realizing, you tend to forget to clean your teeth, especially when you are not eating.
Wish I knew a way of repairing my teeth without having them pulled out

You don't really have them pulled out unless they're loose and completely gone, you get a root canal (they remove the root, grind the tooth into a nubby thing, and epoxy a permanent tooth onto it).

For just a root canal with no pain either during or after I got 20 7.5/300s with a refill two days later. My dentist rules! I've gotten two root canals, all I need is a 1100$ deep cleaning and like 3-4 fillings and I'm set (prices with insurance all the stuff I needed was 10k 4k without it - 4k with it, but this includes an impacted wisdom tooth extraction and two regular wisdom teeth extracted).

Damn you got t3s for wisdom surgery? Damn man I empathize. I was 15 years old now 23 and the doc gave me 10mg hydros. Dope but quickly progressed to a daily habit.

Nope, I had to go out and buy my own painkillers at full price... Didn't even have any smoke to help with the pain >.<
And still had to work all the horses on the property all day, but that did help distract me from the pain.
