Took Xanax first time, blurred vision next day

Basically what the title says, last night with my friends I snorted 4mg of Xanax (first time). Good night.
Next day I wake up, put in my contacts, and everything is blurred. Like my entire vision is blurry.
To get anything to focus in I have to stare at it for a while and it will eventually focus into view.
I read online that the side effects for Xanax is blurred vision so my question is when will it pass and has anyone experienced this before?

I have used Xannys before, but I never snorted them, always took them orally, so I'm not sure if the blurred vision is the side-effect of snorting them. Personally, I never encountered blurred vision with any benzo, but I'm sure other people have.

Ive popped my fair shair of xans, and part of the high is blurred vision. I'm sure it will pass and i wouldn't worry. Maybe a strong cup of coffee will help.

For future reference though, snorting xanax is just plain dumb. Its best just to swallow, they don't take long to kick in and they're way stronger, so be careful. Good luck, let us know if it clears up.

It's starting to clear up already, I think I was just really scared that it would be permanent. It seems like it still gets blurry from time to time. They focus easy when I'm in a well light area.

And thats just from one time. I couldn't imagine being addicted to those things, ive seen people get hooked on them so bad even when they sober up they were still shot tf' out. So they should definitely only be a once-ina-while thing.

Okay vision is back to normal, took a whole day. Thank you guys for being so supportive and nonjudgmental! Never taking Xanax again, whew.

Yasss! It was a present for myself for finishing my 3rd year in college, and it was awesome. My friends and I had a blast, I've never done anything like it.
Can only remember bits and pieces of it though, but from what I remember I was giggling and enjoying myself the entire time.

How does one stay awake on 4mg of Xanax first time ever?

I am prescribed Valium 2 mg for general anxiety disorder (never abused) for the last year and a half.
I assume I have some tolerance to benzos, but I don't know if my tolerance to Valium carries over to Xanax? I don't quite know how that works.

Edit: On a side note, vision is 100% good 24 hours after snorting the Xanax. It just really scared me!
