Took Three Days To Get my Oxy Script Filled

Just wondering if anyone here has had the same experience. I live in NW Arizona. On Monday I had my reg appointment with my pain management doc simply for refills. It took until today for me to find a pharmacy to give me my oxy 10's....everyone else is out. How insane!

When I lived in Flagstaff I was prescribed Roxy 30s, and regularly had to wait a while until after my refill date to get more. Might just be a Northern Arizona thing. I live on the east coast now, and never have to wait, usually can get them a few days early if i ask too.

Well you're a long way from me (I'm on the east coast US) but we're having the same problems here. My pharmacist told me that they always order oxycodone and Opana ER for me and they rarely get/have them. So, this is not a regional issues. My gut feeling is that the DEA may have influence over the filing of orders but who knows?

Beachbum, where on the east coast are you?

I'm right outside of philly on the PA/NJ border, and I never have any problems here getting refills. When I lived on the west coast every month I had trouble.

Miss, this would happen to me years ago when I lived in South Florida. The big pharmacies like Walgreens, Rite Aid and CVS just could not keep up with the demand. I started going to the smaller "Mom and Pop" pharmacies and generally they always had the oxys in stock. Check around your area and you may have better luck next month. Wish you the best.

Like was mentioned above, try the small mom & pop pharmacies, they should definitely have them........
