Took MDA - was it really mda?

"Ok, so last saturday I hung out with a friend, and to get ready for acid we picked up
a bunch of MDA from a friend. Showed up at our buddies place to get some
and i bombed .4 to myself. It was a lightish brownish like clump of puddy
unlike what I've seen and read ; whiteish powder or pills.

Within half hour I felt the MDMA like effects, after about an hour it was like
an overwhelming extasy feeling. At the 3 hr mark, we were in a bar,
and I was flying. Then suddenly the lights in the entire bar began to change
colors from blue to red to green ect. The walls began to breathe and move, and the
lights would sparkle. The colors were so vivid, and real. Mind blowing. We decided to then go back
and smoke dmt which was an odd mix to say the least.

Lasted around 8-9 hrs.

Does anyone know if this was actual MDA? Because the fact that
it was a mudish, squishey like substance weirded me out afterwards.
This ended up being more visual then the 1.5 hits of acid I did last night 8( "

We don't do substance ID here. It could have been a multitude of substances, and just describing the experience and asking someone to tell you what it was won't work. The only way you can find out what you took is if you have any more, you can send it off to a lab for testing.

That sounds like it could have been MDA, but it also could have been 6-APB or 5-APB since they are both MDA analogues and have a longer duration like your experience. Given that you took a very high dosage, and that these effects and this duration could fit in with any number of experiences - this is exactly why we don't do substance ID, since all it leads to is speculation, contrary to harm reduction.
