Hi everyone, Ive been an abuser of oxy for about 6 years on and off, more on than off lol. I occassionaly take a piece of a Sub when nobody has any oxy. Usually 2 to 4mg. But everytime I take it, it lasts a different amount of time...like sometimes for only a day - day and a half and I can feel the oxy when I use. But I took 4mg last Saturday at 1pm and I been doin oxy every day since and dont feel shit. Its now Friday and still dont feel a damn thing. I have a high tolerance, I usually do 6-8 30mg roxis a day. This has happened to me so many times before, that I litteraly cant feel anything for 5 days, then usually Im good. I dont do subs everyday, only like twice a month, maybe 3 times. I guess I shouldnt be complaining cause I am trying to stop, but all my friends that use say its impossible, cant still be in me, laugh at me, then say Im full of shit. They say they can do 4mg in the morning, and feel a roxi that night. I wish....this ever happen to anyone else? I feel like Im the only one and am scared my tolerance is so high, which may be the cause. Ive never done H and have no plans to. So please, dont suggest that. Thanks, any help would be awesome!

Dude I've been taking subs (mainly IV) for the last 2-3 years. 2mg daily. I'm also in the same boat. If I run out of subs and have nothing for a week or so and I take 90mg of oxy 3-4 days into withdrawal I don't feel a fucking thing. I feel better for maybe all of 6 hours and bam back in full blown WDs. I really feel like suboxone has destroyed my receptors for life...even when I went three months without subs a year ago, I slammed 12mg of dilauded and got a slight slight rush for 5 mins and then nothing for a high after that...I guess I'm stuck on subs for life...althought it sure as hell beats full blown heroin adiction, that's for sure...being clean taking subs has saved my life and I'm okay with that. I had my fun times with junk, I certainly don't regret ever getting on subs. Life saver for sure.

I've heard of people with slow metabolisms having to wait a couple days before they can get fully high, but 5 days? And at only 4mg's? That seems pretty crazy.

Thanks for the post cuz. This is crazy, Im not gonna do any oxy tomorrow and see how i feel. If i start to jones then Ill know if I take something, I should definately feel it. I have a quick metabolism, i have a thin build, 29 yrs old, and can eat anything i want. So i figuered the Sub should wear off quickly but I guess not. This stuff really is some wierd shit. But a lifesaver for sure.

^Thing is who you metabolize a drug isn't necessarily dependent on how you burn calories, per se. It has to do with how your liver functions in terms of producing the enzymes that metabolize the buprenorphine. Do you take any other medications? Some meds can inhibit these enymes and cause you to clear out certain drugs longer than you would otherwise.
