Took 4mg Xanax, a few questions

so i had 2mg xanax laying around, and i took 2 of them, didn't feel anything for about 15 minutes (give or take), then started to feel really uncoordinated, a very drunken like intoxication and just generally relaxed, i felt like a could start a conversation, which i did, and it just flowed, i said things that usually would be somewhat irrelevant or maybe inappropriate to discuss, not exactly inappropriate but you get the idea.

anyway, the next morning i couldn't remember barely ANYTHING. certain things i did, i have vague recollections but it was very very hazy. i don't even remember going to bed. it was my first time using xanax, is this common ?
 
Yes, Xanax is notorious for memory loss. 4mg is a very high dose for someone with no tolerance, no wonder you blacked out. Next time try 1-2mg for a more remember-able experience. There have been countless times where I took too many benzos by accident and next thing I know it is 3 days later and a whole bunch of shit went down that I have no recollection of. Gotta be careful, it is not hard to end up hurting yourself, or someone else, or doing something stupid and getting arrested. Xanax makes me do some strange shit, lol.

Lol i remember when 4 mg of xanax used to do something to me. If you have never been barred out before, you will today. Your gonna be out of there, talkin shit, being rude, your gonna act an ass. Drink a beer and just indulge in the experience. Life life to the fullest
 
Sure that is common when you take doses that high without a tolerance to them. Its called blacking out. You may have done some things that you don't remember doing.

You should have done a little research first bro. I think 1mg would have been fine unless of course you like blacking out, which I have only heard alcoholics saying that they do. Next time take 1.5mg if you want to try and remember. Maybe even just 1mg.
 
Yup Xanax is notorious for memory loss. I can't even drive after popping 2mg, and I'll remember very little the next day. Are they your pills? If so, ask for something less potent like valium which basically does the same thing but isn't nearly as strong. I believe 20mg valium = 1mg Xanax. Valium isn't typically a memory zapper like xanax.
 
Hee hee that OP sounds like an excellent, typical, first-time experience of a solid dose.
Bored, took a couple, had a good time, everything smooth. And boom blackout the next day about what happened that night.
I like to hide my benzo stash and car keys when I'm drifting into blackout territory (I can kind of tell when it's getting a little far).
 
Very common. I'm just lucky it doesn't happy to me. You're ok? Check your body for bruises :) you mighta bumped into some shit during this adventure.

Ya It's just benzos in general and 4 MG is kind of a fuck ton for a person who doesn't use frequently. If you're gonna do this again id say 2MG is the money dose.
 
Deff .. Effect memory loss.. And if u weren't tolerant 4mg is a crap load haha ! Deff not a benzo fan lots of nasty side affects
 
Ahh, I'm sure I had good times on xanax too. Just be glad you only had two 2mg pills. When I used to take xanax I would take take a .5 and have a shot of liquor. after about three or four rounds of that I would get to the point where my short term memory would be shot. I would go into a cycle of taking a shot and a .5 then 5 minutes later do the same because I forgot that I took one 5 minutes ago. Don't remeber much from those nights.
