LI have an exam tomorrow at 6:30pm est and I really need to study for it and do well. I have been studying all week and am not done. I'm typing this on my phone and my eyes keep going out of focus on it unless I keep one shut. I've taken 20mg ritalin 60min ago to start studying again but it hasnt helped at least so far. I'm having microsleeps for a few seconds each once every 10-30min. I'm writing this graf last and it hasn't been easy. I can't thank.you enough for your help because this is a bid exam. Sorry for the typos but I'm hazy.

I thought I was done with panic attacks , but I used to have a xanax prescription for it. Since I thought I'd overcome them, I stopped filling it so I called a friend with a klonopin script who also has panic attacks when this happened
At 8am He gave me 2 1mg klonopin then 2 more after an hour and fifteen minutes. If the first 2mg did the job I wouldnt have taken more, but there was barely if any improvement after 75min so he gave me 2 more for 4mg total.

I slept from 10:30 or 11 until 8. I alao had not slept the night before. It's 12 now. i don't know what triggered the aattacks

Id greatly appreciate any advice. I have some more ritalin. Would that help? How much longerbwill this last? I just need to get in a straight state so I can study. I took it 17 hours ago! I had no idea it'd have residual effects like this.

Methylphenidate and panic attacks are joined at the hip.
If you are prone to panic attacks I would lay off the Ritalin no matter how tired you are (or were, 8 hours ago).

i don't know what triggered the attacks
- the stress of the exam and the ritalin IMO.

How did it go and how are you feeling now?

Oh and don't take so much clonazepam in future, all these factors together will screw your mind up and isn't going to help to plan for something that needs your mind to be clear in any possible way.

Keep us posted.

i say take more ritalin...idk what time it is where you live so good luck.

I had an exam at 8 this morning...i didn't study at all and haven't been to class half the time but i'm feeling confident about it.

FUCK I'M HUNGRY!! Got DAMNIT!!

I would say that you're better off trying to just stay awake and wait for the clonazepam to wear off, because like SL said, methylphenidate/ritalin (and even the 'smother' dextromethylphenidate) cause severe anxiety. I swear to god it's worse than crashing off an all night IV cocaine binge and it lasts forever. Clonazepam's half life is between 12-20 hours. For someone who hasn't been taking benzo's for a while, 4mg is a huge dose to consume (clonazepam is equipotent to Xanax, it just lasts longer and takes more time to kick in). You might feel groggy for a few more hours but not much more I'd imagine.

drink some coffee and smoke some ciggs.

Eh that may help with the mental haze but I don't really recommend it for someone who is prone to panic attacks and/or just had one.

Take less Klonopin next time, 4mg is unnecessary. I know it may not fee like it's working, but it doesn't kick in very fast in comparison to say Xanax, and has a much longer half life. The longer half life will make the anxiolytic effects last longer.
