Took 250mg of codeine, how long should i wait to take hydrocodone?

I took 160mg about three hours ago and 90mg an hour and half ago. I'm looking to take 40mg of hydrocodone (4000 Tylenol) so how long should I wait to take it?

I dunno whats your tolerance like? If you normally dose 40mg then go ahead and take it now. The 90mg of codeine an hour ago will hardly have an effect on the hydrocodone. If your still feeling the codeine real good though then you may want to dose a little lower than normal but only you can tell how your feeling and not me.

An i dunno what "4000 tylenol" is but if its got the acetaminophan in it, watch out for that...you may have to do a cold water extraction, but probabaly not.

I think he means the 40 mg of hydrocodone in addition to the acet. in the codeine will equal 4000mg , and he is worried about going over the 4g in 24 hours limit. Is that correct op?

^yeah, 4000mg is the recommended max safe dose in 24 hours, although there has been talk of it being lowered to 3000mg I believe. However, that's for 24 hours - I'd be wary of more than 2000mg in one go really, the recommended single dose is 1000mg.. and if you have any liver problems or are drinking alcohol you want to be more careful too.
