took 200mg tramadol this morning, when can I take adderall!

So this AM I took 200mg tramadol and I know mixing with adderall can give seizures, how long would you guys wait after this tramadol dose. Also how quick can someone lower their tolerance for amphetamines? I know opiate tolerance can take years. Thanks

I would play it safe and wait for tramadol to wear off completely. Don't fuck with siezures

Exactly. Should I wait the amount of the bioavailability? Or is it like 4 hours til it wears off?

Give it at least 16 hours, Tramadol lasts very long. BUT if you plan to take under 20 mg I think 8 hours should be fine.

Yep. Definitely wait. Your seizure threshold could definitely get dangerous. If the adderall isn't critical, I'd play it safe and take the next day instead. If you're going to, wait until, say, eight or ten hours, you should be absolutely fine

Also, bioavailability refers to the active amount of a substance that ends up in your system after taking it. Half life, perhaps?

Tramadol has a long half-life, active metabolites and is notorious for its tendency to cause serotonin syndrome. Tramadol has a mean half-life of 6-7 hours and O-Desmethyltramadol, the metabolite (which is FAR more potent) has a half-life of 9 hours. So it's more than 9+6 as all the tramadol won't be metabolized immediately.

To be on the safe side I'd wait 24 hours. We're talking low doses, but this is a HR website, and tramadol is pretty much the #1 culprit for most cases of serotonin syndrome in recreational drug users.
