Last night I took 15mg of Hydrocodone(three 5/500 pills.)
I was very disappointed because I felt next to nothing during the entire night except a little sleepy.
Im 5'11 145lbs. possibly a natural opiate tolerance?

Speaking from personal experience only, 15 mg is plenty if you have low to no tolerance, you definitely should have noticed more unless your body has a lower sensitivity to opiates. I've talked to people who said hydrocodone didn't do anything for them but percocet (oxycodone) did.

The other thing I'd recommend is always take it on an empty stomach, a full stomach has a pretty negative effect on the experience. I usually do this: a light brunch in the morning, a light dinner in the evening, dose 2-3 hours after dinner. But do not starve yourself, that isn't necessary

Eat about an hour before dosing...........for me, whether I ate or not, I still felt the full effects. You may have a natural high tolerance..............

I would definatley take on an empty stomach or near empty. And possibly increase the dosage to 20-30mgs, only if you feel comfortable with that. My tolerance is too high to mess with vicodin. Percocet is better in my opinion. If your tolerance is low I would try to keep it there. I started on vicodin and percocet, loved the high. well I liked opiates too much and it led to heroin and other strong opiates. So watch how much you like it, try not to let it lead to worse things, good luck!

I'm going to close this thread since it has been effectively derailed, but I am going to create a new thread for AngryLittlePill's questions so the discussion can continue. Excellent post by the way, ReversiblePulpitis.
