This is coming from someone with a little benzo tolerance except for a few .5mg clonzepams every now and then. I can barely remember which day I took the valium or remember the last 48 hours. My question here is, is that a dangerous amount of substances, even the valium alone? I barely felt anything except for a slowed conciousness... Now I'm still feeling that effect almost 2 days later after drinking the beer (or at least I think). It's hard to type and I hope I put this in the correct thread considering I'm a newbie and all... anyways get back to me with your responses bluelighters... move this thread if you have to mods.. love ya'll.. peace and harmony!

My second question would be is it possible that the valium is still affecting me even after assuming I took it 2 days ago??? I feel like it is but I'm not sure... Thanks

I'm drinking more beer... hopefully it will enhance the effects if it's still in my system.. we'll see in a few!! still waiting for a reply... BUMP!!!!!!!!!

Ok so. Information as basic as this can be found elsewhere very easily. You must learn as much as you can about a drug before ingesting it.
Valium has a very long half-life, something like 36-200 hours. Basically this means that it will take an extremely long time to metabolize 100mg worth. Let's say it takes 100hrs for your body to metabolize half of the dose, then this means that every 100 hours half of the dose is metabolized. So you can probably feel the effects of this drug for the rest of the weak. Weaker as the days go by.

As for if it's dangerous? 100mg of valium is not near the amount needed to OD on diazepam alone. Of course the risk increases with other downer consumption such as the 4 beers you drank. Luckily for you, 4 beers won't kill you with 100mg of valium, maybe if the doses were trippled then some shit might hit the fan.

Blackouts are also extremely common in high dosed benzo binges. So, if you "barely felt anything", then clearly you would just not do it again right?

I appreciate the information, and I understand what you said clearly. I figured that someone would give me some sort of response similar to yours. Surprisingly but not surprisingly according to what you said, I am still feeling the effects. I kind of was hoping that's what someone would say, that it would last the rest of the week. I knew I was still feeling something and that it's going away slowly. Even though the response was sort of late, I thank you very much for it. My anxiety has been greatly reduced since taking the 100mg of diazepam, hopefully it will last the rest of the week like you said. Again thank you for the response. Have a great week, like me hopefully!!! :) P.S. I usually use erowid but searched bluelight for information this time and was stupid taking that much of a dosage but I wanted to get high so badly. Anyways, wrapping this up. Peace, homie. I'll be more careful next time, even if it won't kill me. Blackouts suck balls. :P

Okay, so SWIM is 5 or so days in now. It been almost a week and SWIM is still feeling the effects of the Diazepam. Noticed effects are as follows: reduced anxiety (obviously), some loss of balance, foggy mind, loss of memory (SWIM has to keep asking which day it is). SWIM being a newbie to benzos, SWIM is not surprised that the effects are so substantial. SWIM also notices that his mind is more clear in a way, and words are easier to form. Except for the fact that SWIM can barely put my finger on the main point of benzos, that factor that you can never really tell if you are really high or not. It's like being more normal, and then going back to yourself after a period of time. My mind feel fucked to be honest, and SWIM think there is some truth behind the theory of benzos causing brain damage. SWIM took too many at one time in one day. But he still noticed some nervousness as well... could be a root problem. Gonna stick with lower doses now. This shows that you should be safe and take it easy some times with drugs especially benzos. Those are SWIM's thoughts. If you don't agree with me then get at SWIM, bluelighters/greenlighters. BUMP!
