i know people say its not good to take ecstasy when you get older, maybe bc alot of it is cut? but what about pure mdma? ive had some that seemed really clean and not like a real strain on my body or anything at all. if anything it was refreshing! plus i personally know a dude whos over 50 that rolls every memorial weekend. i just hope that by the time we can all get our hands on the real good stuff, were not all too old to enjoy it.

There are several here in that age range that still partake an they are no worse for the ware. its all about using responsibly. I would say that the dangers lie in unknown factors that come with aging like possible heart disease or weak kidneys or liver that could cause problems with the older users. but if you are in good health with no medical issues, MDMA can be used until you die of old age as far as I know.

I don't know how old you are, but I have been taking MDMA and pills for 20 years now.

Main thing is to enjoy a good session and then give your body time to get over it and you should not have any problems.

Gone are the days of caneing chemicals every week.

I don't think age makes a difference honestly... the only thing I have heard from some of my older friends is that now that they're older, they tend to experience shittier crashes the next day. I'm not sure if that's due to age though, most of those friends have over used MDMA for a lot of years and I suspect that might have a little more to do with it than age. I have a lot of much older friends who use MDMA.

The more frequently you do MDMA the worse the comedowns are in my experience, I'm 33 and still do MDMA about 5 times a year. I guess you heart is weaker than a 20 year old so proabbaly not a good idea to drop a 1/4 gram at once! As long as it is from a good source there is no reason why a 120mg dose would be particulary bad for you as long as you are in fairly good shape.

Agreed, you're only too old if you feel too old. If you're I. good health age is just a number. Roll on mate! (Ps - 42 here)

Too old? Are we ever too old to have fun? Only when we stop trying. I first took psychedelics in 1966, and have used E about 4x a year since 1996. Not only do I not have severe crashes, but I think with perspective and experience I get more out of it than I got out of LSD back in the days when it was the thing to do (1960s). So, if you have clean X, and a good place to do it, the right friends and the right attitude, I'd say go for it now, and go for it later.

I know I can't party now like I used to when I was younger. I could go on for days using multiple drugs and wake up after a good sleep and go at it again. Now I roll once every 2 months and my body feels like I just had an orgy with 5 fat woman. I def need a good full day to recover. Will it stop me from rolling in the future? Fuck no but just not as often. And I'm not that old I don't think at 37. Wait wtf I'm 37 omg wtfff grrr I forgot I was that fucking old godamnit!! Grrr

Lol cool guys thanks for the positive feedback. it makes sense, as long as theres no real strain, it shouldnt be too bad. i am only 27 and i need a dayafter no matter what. i always feel like a zombie the next day, but i think its because im really sensitive to not falling asleep. so when you only get 2 or 3 fast hours of sleep. the next day goes by reeeaaallllyyyy slowwww ,lol

Im 32... i know people that are 60+ but in good health, that use it in moderation and have no issues... getting older makes us wiser... usually... get a test kit so you dont get adulturated product and maybe even go in for a checkup at the doctors if you have any concerns with your health :)

I'm muuuuuch older than you and I agree the lack of sleep can be a killer. But! I think I may have discovered something. I usually take 5mg of ambian sublingually to help me sleep after a roll; but it doesn't always work. Last night we rolled and after an hour of taking the ambian, I was still awake. I decided to swallow half a xanax bar and slept GREAT. Today I had a good afterglow and a healthy appetite. My wife just took the ambian and didn't sleep well, had a headache all day and was typically miserable.

I was introduced to e by people in their 60s. I'm in my 50s and have health issues but nothing that gets in the way of enjoying mdma when i have the chance. The only difficulties i've experienced came from doing it two or more nights in a row [just pointless and asking for a shit hangover]. I would recommend giving out free e to the elderly in old folks' homes. :)

Well my Partner is 63 and I'm 57 and we occasionally use MDMA. Trouble is that many things lose their sparkle after you've done it a few times - IMHO that's the principle reason for moving on from many things in life. It's still fun though, and I wonder if the come down is really any worse than before or whether we've just become less tolerant of feeling crap as we get older (it was never that bad anyway). LSD seems to be the exception for both of us - it still has the magic and no come down. Watch this space to see if we end up with MDMA-related dementia :? =D

My partner is 60 and I'm 66 and we still love to do molly every now and then. We get loved up and give each other back rubs, talk and play with sex toys while listening to trance. We find that poppers are great while rolling and we smoke cannabis on the come down.
Our greatest problem is scoring, because it's mostly young people who know where to go and they don't trust a geezer like me.

My wife an I are both 38 an we still partake about 4 times a year. Great thread. Its glorious to see people still enjoying the gifts of this life. Puts a smile on my face. :)

Like other stimulants, it is contraindicated if you have a heart condition. Mild heart conditions become remarkably common when people reach their fifties.

im 35, 16 years into taking ecstasy. The magic has faded but i still enjoy whenever i feel the need. Took pills every weekend for about 4/5 years when i was younger.

Can say i have noticed any long term side effects.
