Too much of everything... but it's friday though... (separate benzo & alcohol advice)
Alright so I've been on a bit of a rampage and have developed a massive benzo & alcohol tolerance. Before you jump to conclusions I'm not asking how to take them together or how to w/d. This is just the way I do drugs and I've gone through bezno w/d multiple times whenever my tolerance just gets outta control (gonna take the upper ground and not dicksize with amounts here haha). Unfortunately, I've had to quit my daily drinking habit too because of some alcohol related injuries (from the actual alcohol not being blackout).
So needless to say I'm taking it easy; the first part of my question is just alcohol related: I've stopped drinking after I developed a pinched nerve/alcoholic neuropathy, this is worst on my left side but even worse in my arm itself. I've been told by doctors that it both was just because of me sleeping on my arm and also that it was a combination of the alcohol and sleeping position. I can feel my arm start to hurt and I can feel the quality of use of my ulnar nerve deteriorate as I get more dehydrated/drunk. Recently I have been getting neuromuscular massages and I actually quit drinking for the time being like a week and a half ago and it is definately steadily getting better. Sooo..... (I do have a appt. with a neurologist specialist but its not for like a week or two so please humor me) how long do you imagine I will have to stop drinking for? And has anyone else experienced anything similar? (PS it's been about 1.5 months since i woke up with my arm fucked like that)
Secondly, and this part pertains more to my title, I am in college and it is very hard to go out at night when I can't drink and I'm going through benzo w/d's. Don't get me wrong i've been weening myself off but I'll have a night like tonight where i'll wanna do something and when I take any benzo in quantity it seems to kick me back into w/d's, after the high of course. So Has anyone experienced this "kick" back into w/d with benzos? I most noticably had this reaction coming off xanax and while still weening I took around 80 mg of diazepam and it definatly set everything back considerably; prehaps it has to do with the outrageously long half-life of some of dizepam's metabolites?
I may or may not 8) have plenty to ski on and I will probably end up getting into that tonight but thats really not my cup of tea as you can tell from the little you know of my alcohol and benzo history. So what would your overall advice be to me? I wish I quit drinking an extra month ago when i should have cause i wanna start asap; but most of all i just wanna be able to get fuckin wasted at cochella in mid-april and not have to worry about all this kinda bullshit.
I know I'm stupid and I deserve the w/d that come with the high and i'm fine with that; but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
