Hey everyone, I guess I should introduce myself briefly, since this is my first post. So, erm...hi there.
So, some background information would be useful...
Anyway, I'm a very occasional meth user. I've probably been using since I was 17 and that was 10 years ago, but my use is limited to 1-2 binges of maybe half a gram, a few times a year. I saw what it did to some of my friends, so I've been able to control it well. I smoke it.
Lately, every time I smoke, I get this really hypertensive feeling, where I feel like my veins are going to explode and I start panicking. It all goes away with clonazepam, and then I'm feeling groovy again.
I've heard that the combination is dangerous, not because of the opposing stimulant/depressing action (which from what I gather is much better for the heart), but because people will tend to take too many benzos.
I only take 1-2 mg of clonazepam during a session. My fear is, that because my meth tolerance is way up, it'll just let me smoke more meth, but I'll still be fucking up my system -- I just won't feel it.
So is it possible to really overdo it with the meth on a benzo? Or does the benzo just kind of negate the negative effects (hypertension, anxiety, racing heart) of the meth, thus allowing you to safely do more than you normally would be able to?
I really need to finish some assignments right now, and want to smoke another bowl, but I've already had .25 g and I don't want to overdo it. Without the clonazapem I'd feel like I should be in the ER.
Opinions are greatly appreciated. Especially the speedy ones
I shall be up to check for responses. I am kind of feeling groovy right now, but would like another hit or three.
Also -- is it normal to take like 5 or 6 hits each time you smoke? Because I do.
