too much APAP?

So i have generic vicodin es that is 7.5/750 and i took 3 yesterday and felt barely anything. i thought this was odd because i rarely take opiates maybe once or twie a month and not month after month. so i should have a mild toleraance at best. i also took them on a semi full stomach. i wa sthinking of taking 4 today on empty that would be 3000 mgs of APAP, would this be dangerous? im 16, 120 lbs if that helps. thanks for any help

3000mg of APAP is pushing it, but not at the "limit" of 4000mg.

However, that is still a lot of APAP and therefore I wouldn't drink alcohol at all or consume other substances that put strain on your liver.

Alternatively you could do a Cold Water Extraction (CWE) on those Vicodins and get rid of most of the APAP, so if you have to take more, and it sounds like you probably do, you won't have to worry about being so close to 4000mg.

4000 mg is the maximum daily recommended dose of APAP, so you're under that. If you'e developing a tolerance for opiates and are going to take larger doses of vicodin to get high in the future then it's worth getting into the habit of doing a CWE.
